LeoVegas Casino Welcome Bonus Wagering Requirements

So while the welcome bonus is reasonably generous, there is no such thing as free cash being handed out willy-nilly — there’s a catch. As with all online casinos, there is a wagering requirement placed on the bonuses.

A wagering requirement is a mechanism to make sure you don’t just withdraw your bonus money and scarper off for a shopping spree at The Warehouse. In practice, it means you have to bet your money a certain number of times before you can cash out.

The industry standard for wagering requirements is about 40x, meaning you have to wager (or bet) funds 40 times before you can withdraw it. So if you get a $100 in bonuses, you would have to bet that $100 40 times.

LeoVegas’ wagering requirement is 20x, which on the surface is very, very good — however, in this case, it’s a little more complicated, and we want to make sure you are fully informed.

Some casinos will require that you wager just your bonus money, or maybe your bonus money as well as your original deposit before you cash out.

LeoVegas is quite different though — as we mentioned above, you actually have to wager your original deposit 20 times before you even get access to your bonus money (let alone being able to cash out).

So that means if you deposit the minimum of $10 for the welcome bonus, you will have to bet $200 before you get your bonus funds.

This is the reason that your balance will only show your original deposit, and not your bonus money.
