Celebrity Traitors Series 2 Odds: Ruth Jones Favourite To Line Up

The inaugural Celebrity Traitors series has been a resounding success, and betting sites have revealed the odds for who might appear in a second season.
While Celebrity Traitors series two is yet to be confirmed, it seems to be a sure thing.
Amid the first series airing, several stars have admitted they were approached to take part, but couldn't commit the time, and there have been some regrets.
Now, one comedy legend has already entered talks to take part in Celebrity Traitors series two.
Faithful Nessa
Gavin & Stacey star Ruth Jones - who co-wrote the hit BBC series and played Nessa - is said to be in discussions with BBC bosses about a Celebrity Traitors appearance.
Ruth is the 5/4 favourite to take part in a second series of the ultimate game of deceit and betrayal, amid reports that producers are approaching stars to gauge interest in another season.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "The celebrity version of The Traitors has been a phenomenal success for the BBC and they’re already approaching stars for the next run.
"Ruth is one of the names in the frame, and she’s been approached about taking part.
"Given the stellar names they secured for series one, the next instalment has to be just as impressive. Ruth would be an incredible addition to the cast if she could fit it into her schedule."
However, it's thought Ruth isn't keen to be a Traitor.
The insider added: "Ruth would only consider taking part on the proviso she would be a Faithful."
Fellow female comedy actress Daisy May Cooper is a 4/1 shot to take part, after she was linked to the first series, and Michelle Visage isn't far behind at 5/1.

Dyer Wants Traitor Role
Danny Dyer is one star who has admitted the BBC were interested in him taking part in Celebrity Traitors series one.
The former EastEnders actor turned down the opportunity because he didn't know what the show was all about, but he's now a fan. He would be up for appearing in the famous castle - if the money is right.
Speaking on his Live and Let Dyer podcast, he said: "I’m into it - they did sniff round me about it, I’d never seen it, so it was a ‘no’ from me because for one I hadn’t seen it, but now I’m into it.
"If you’re going to do it, if you're famous, it needs to be an indulgence project; you have to love the game.

"It’s quite a simple game, I thought it was too complicated, but it’s actually just about people manipulating people and a lot of lying.
"So if the money’s right... because I might get involved in the next series."
Danny is just 11/8 on betting apps to sign up for a second series, and he is keen to be a Traitor.
Martin Lewis recently admitted he was also asked to be part of the inaugural Celebrity Traitors series, but he didn't have time to do it.
He wrote on Instagram: "I’m no Traitor, sadly. I’ve got FOMO looking at the Celebrity Traitors line-up. I was asked if I wanted to do it, but said no as I couldn’t commit the time."
He is just 2/1 to join the series two cast.
JLS singer JB Gill is a 9/2 chance, after admitting he would "never say never" to a Celebrity Traitors appearance.
He told RadioTimes.com: "We played sort of a Traitors-style game backstage at Strictly when we were doing the tour, so that was quite fun."
Fellow singer James Blunt is an 8/1 outsider to take part.
Bob's Reserved Spot
Bob Mortimer is just 13/8 to appear in the second series of the star-studded show - and he has a place reserved for him, if he wants it.
Traitors executive producer Sarah Fay recently told Metro: "If Bob wanted to do it next year, we would absolutely love it."
She also hinted that Friends actress Courteney Cox (15/8) could be part of the next series.
Sarah added: "Other people were speculated about, too. Courteney Cox was in the papers for a long time as well.
"It’s not just a case of we want them to do it, there’s other things involved."
Fellow executive producer Mike Cotton added: "A lot of people wanted to do it, but they have other commitments."
If Bob were to take part, it would be comedy gold to see him in the castle alongside fellow funnymen David Mitchell (3/1) and Ricky Gervais (7/2).
Baroness Karren Brady was also approached to appear in the first series, but she didn't have time.
Despite that, Brady is a 10/1 chance to say "yes" to Celebrity Traitors bosses if she is approached about a second series.
