Andy Brassell's Tip 1: Bayern Munich Vs Werder Bremen, Friday 7.30pm
Another weekend, another instance of history beckons for Harry Kane.
The England captain made one Bundesliga landmark his own in scoring a 17th straight successful penalty in the victory over Hoffenheim last week.
Kane's ninth hat-trick for Bayern gave his team a slightly flattering 4-1 victory, and it also took him past Max Kruse's mark of 16 successful spot kicks.
Harry Kane Stats
Kane has scored 14 goals in 8 appearances for club and country
Kane scored twice in this fixture last season
As the champions prepare to feast on Werder Bremen, who are likely to be treading water in lower mid-table, two more goals will take Kane to a century for Bayern.
If he does so, he will become the quickest to 100 goals for a club in Europe’s top five leagues in his 104th match for the club.
Both Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland took 105 games at Real Madrid and Manchester City respectively. That is the sort of statistical company Kane keeps.

Andy Brassell's Tip 2: Strasbourg Vs Marseille, Friday 7.30pm
It was joy unconfined for Marseille on two counts on Monday night, when they beat their historic rivals Paris Saint-Germain in Le Classique for the first time at home in Ligue 1 since 2011.
They also spoiled PSG's hoped-for enjoyment of the Ballon d’Or ceremony of the same night, as OM (understandably) insisted on sticking with league protocol and playing the game on the next day after it was postponed from Sunday because of a storm.
Roberto de Zerbi’s team were wise, also, to bank the extra day of rest ahead of this tough trip to Alsace, in the midst of an unrelenting calendar.
Game Notes
Strasbourg have scored in every Ligue 1 game this season
Strasbourg's Joaquin Panichelli is the league's joint-leading scorer with 3 goals
It will be tough for his team to pick up their energy levels having expended so much, physically and emotionally against PSG.
Liam Rosenior’s Strasbourg, meanwhile, are one of four teams level at the top of Ligue 1 on 12 points.
After becoming the first team in Europe’s top five leagues to start a match exclusively with players born in the 21st century (doing so on the opening day of this season), they have the legs to punish any potential Marseille weariness.

Andy Brassell's Tip 3: Crystal Palace Vs Liverpool, Saturday 3pm
Apparently Liverpool are due to run out of late winners at some point, following another post-85th-minute strike to finish off Southampton in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, but don’t be so sure.
The depth of Arne Slot’s bench is something else, and even Hugo Ekitike’s ban won’t change that, in a game they are favourites to win with football betting sites.
Alexander Isak’s first Premier League start will be very welcome against a Crystal Palace side presenting a very particular challenge.
Game Notes
Under 2.5 goals has landed in 5 of the last 6 league meetings, including the last 3
The Eagles are unbeaten and have conceded just two Premier League goals so far, or three in eight games in all competitions since they beat Liverpool in the Community Shield.
Having played their own Carabao Cup game against Millwall the week before, Palace come into this well rested and ready to go the distance.
Andy's Panel Selection 3: Crystal Palace Vs Liverpool: Under 2.5 Total Goals - 27/25 With Grosvenor
Andy's weekend treble pays out at around 17/1 with Grosvenor.
