Andy Brassell's Weekend Football Tips Including Bayern Munich Vs Dortmund

European football expert Andy Brassell is back to share his three best selections for this weekend's action across Europe's top leagues using the latest odds from LiveScoreBet.

Bayern Munich Vs Borussia Dortmund, Saturday 5.30pm
This is just how we want to see an autumn Klassiker set - with the two teams level on points and with at least a suggestion of a title race.
How this match goes will have a huge effect on whether we go towards Christmas believing in a genuine competition at the top for Bayern and their newly crowned Ballon d’Or Harry Kane. The devil here is in the detail.
League Comparison
Position | Team | Played | Points | GD |
1st | Bayern Munich | 7 | 17 | +19 |
2nd | B Dortmund | 7 | 17 | +8 |
After seven games the champions already have a goal difference superior to that of their visitors by 11, and have scored more than twice as many goals.
Dortmund are extremely solid under Niko Kovac, which is exactly why they have just extended his contract, but are too reliant on Serhou Guirassy for goals.

- Andy's Panel Selection 2: Lyon Vs Angers: Under 2.5 Total Goals - 5/4 With LiveScoreBet
- Andy's Panel Selection 3: Juventus Vs Napoli: Over 3.5 Total Goals - 49/20 With LiveScoreBet
Lyon Vs Angers, Saturday 7.45pm
It never rains but it pours. The injury to Lyon’s centre-forward Lois Openda was bad enough given their lack of depth in that part of the pitch.
However, this week Pavel Sulc, their versatile forward who could fill in for the Belgian, was ruled out until at least February.
League Comparison
Position | Team | Played | Points | GD |
5th | Lyon | 8 | 14 | +6 |
14th | Angers | 8 | 8 | -6 |
With injuries to midfielders too (including regular scorer Corentin Tolisso) it’s hard to see where the goals are coming from, with a creditable performance away at PSG on Monday undone by a lack of punch.
Add to this that visitors Angers are in a dip and have only scored nine in eight games so far, and we are probably not looking at a goalfest here.
Andy's Panel Selection 2: Lyon Vs Angers: Under 2.5 Total Goals - 5/4 With LiveScoreBet

Juventus Vs Napoli, Monday 7.30pm
A few weeks back we might have looked at this as an eat-or-be-eaten moment for Max Allegri returning to his old club. Instead it is Luciano Spalletti sweating heavily after the midweek loss at Genoa meant Juve have lost three of their last six in Serie A, failing to score in two of their last three league games.
Let’s not jump to the conclusion that this will be a tight affair, though - Napoli’s 4-1 win at Monza, confirming their gradual return to health, took their last three games to an aggregate of 18 goals.
League Comparison
Position | Team | Played | Points | GD |
7th | Napoli | 9 | 14 | +6 |
8th | Juventus | 9 | 14 | +1 |
They are becoming the kings of merry chaos, which is a curious and uncharacteristic way for Allegri to pull out of the slump of his early weeks in charge.
The attacking talent on both sides, together with some shaky defending, could make this a must-watch.
Andy's Panel Selection 3: Juventus Vs Napoli: Over 3.5 Total Goals - 49/20 With LiveScoreBet
