Harry Kane Transfer Betting Odds: Man Utd Lead The Queue To Sign England Star

Tottenham striker Harry Kane will become one of the hottest properties in world football when the summer transfer window opens.
Betting sites have released odds on his next destination, and several heavyweight clubs are in contention to sign him.
Kane is now Tottenham’s record goalscorer, but he has not won a single trophy since breaking into the Spurs team back in 2014, and the 2022/23 campaign has been a disaster for the club.
He will turn 30 in July, so the England captain is running out of time to secure silverware before his illustrious career ends.
Kane’s dreams of moving to Man City were thwarted by Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy in 2021, but he will be in a far stronger bargaining position this time around.
His contract expires next summer, so if he refuses to sign a new deal, Spurs will be forced to cash in on him or risk losing their prized asset on a free transfer in 2024.
Premier League heavyweights are circling, while he could also receive compelling offers from Germany, Spain and France.
This could develop into the transfer saga of the summer, and we have rounded up the leading contenders in the market below.
Remain At Tottenham
Levy will desperately try to convince Kane to sign a new deal in the summer, but it will be a hard sell after another disappointing campaign.
Spurs were dumped out of both cup competitions, they went out of the Champions League with a whimper and they were well off the pace in the Premier League title race.
In January, Kane was reportedly open to signing a new contract, which would cement his status as a club legend.
However, Tottenham’s situation has since deteriorated: Antonio Conte was sacked after lambasting his players, results went south and Kane looked miserable in a 6-1 defeat to Newcastle.
Reporters now suggest that Kane is unlikely to stay at Spurs beyond the summer, but the betting odds tell a different story.
Tottenham are still the favourites in the market, priced at odds-on with most UK bookmakers, but you can find a market-leading Evens at Bet365.
Manchester United
United have emerged as the favourites to sign Kane if he decides to walk away from Tottenham this summer.
They are priced at 5/4 with football betting sites to snap him up, leaving them ahead of rivals such as Bayern Munich and PSG in the odds.
The Red Devils have enjoyed a renaissance under Erik ten Hag this season, which gives them an excellent chance of luring Kane to Old Trafford.
They won the EFL Cup in February and they have an FA Cup final to look forward to, while Champions League qualification appears to be a formality.
Kane will need to be convinced that he can fulfil his aspirations at Old Trafford, as he will be keen to secure some long overdue silverware.
United’s successes this term will allow them to make a compelling argument, and they would certainly have no trouble meeting Tottenham’s asking price for the England skipper.
It is also easy to see why Man Utd would jump at the chance to sign Kane, as they still lack a world-class striker to lead the line.
He has scored more goals than any other striker in the Premier League this season apart from Erling Haaland, and he would turn the Red Devils into serious title contenders.
Odds of 5/4 on Kane therefore look very attractive, as he looks likely to agitate for a move and Man Utd appear to be in pole position.
Chelsea
Kane could be the missing piece for a Chelsea team that have struggled badly in front of goal this season.
New owner Todd Boehly has embarked on a record-breaking spending spree since buying the club from Roman Abramovich last summer, but he seemingly overlooked signing a striker.
Only three Premier League teams have scored fewer goals than the Blues this season, and they desperately need firepower.
However, it may be difficult for Boehly to convince Kane to move to Stamford Bridge, as there is animosity between Tottenham and Chelsea.
Yet that could all change after Chelsea appointed Mauricio Pochettino as manager, as he has a good relationship with Kane, which has seen Chelsea's odds to sign him crash from 20/1 to 6/1.
Bayern Munich
Kane would be all but guaranteed to rack up some trophies if he decided to move to Bayern Munich in the summer.
The German heavyweights have won the Bundesliga title for the past 10 seasons, while they have also conquered Europe in that time.
However, they have regressed this season after talismanic striker Robert Lewandowksi left for Barcelona last summer, and their hegemony is currently under threat.
Kane would be the perfect replacement for Lewandowski, cementing Bayern’s status as the top team in Germany and turning them into Champions League contenders once more.
However, it would dent his chances of overtaking Alan Shearer as the all-time leading goalscorer in the Premier League, so United may still have the edge right now.
For that reason, Bayern have drifted out to 16/1 with BetUK to bring Kane to Bavaria before the summer transfer window slams shut.
PSG
The Parisian giants are planning to overhaul their squad in the summer after another underwhelming Champions League campaign.
Lionel Messi is likely to abandon ship, while Neymar has reportedly been put up for sale after another failed attempt to conquer Europe.
PSG could now turn to Kane to spearhead a new project, and the prospect of him linking up with Kylian Mbappe would excite the fans.
The club’s Qatari owners would have no trouble meeting his wage demands, and once again, he would be almost certain to secure winner’s medals in the French capital.
However, reports suggest that Kane is reluctant to leave English football, which could dent PSG’s prospects of signing him, so they have lengthened to 22/1 with Unibet.
Newcastle
Nouveau riche Newcastle are priced at 25/1 with new betting sites to pip their rivals to Kane’s signature in the summer.
The Magpies brushed Spurs aside with contemptuous ease at St James’ Park in April, leaving them comfortably ahead of Kane’s team in the table.
They have the best defensive record in the Premier League this season, but Newcastle have not been as impressive in front of goal as Man City and Arsenal.
It is therefore easy to see why they are interested in signing Kane, but whether he would move to St James’ Park is another matter entirely.
Newcastle are certainly an emerging force in the Premier League, their immediate prospects look brighter than those of Tottenham after Newcastle secured Champions League football for the first time in 20 years.
But there are no guarantees that they can supplant the likes of City, Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea over the next few years.
Kane may have just one big transfer left as he hurtles towards his 30th birthday, and Newcastle’s project may still be too embryonic for him.
The Rest
Juventus are 30/1 outsiders, but they may lack the funds to sign him, and they have now gone three years without a Serie A title.
A more realistic option could be Real Madrid, who are priced at 25/1 with betting apps to sign Kane.
They need to sign a replacement for Karim Benzema at some point and Kane - who is five years his junior- could fit the bill.
Man City are now well stocked in that department, with Haaland and Julian Alvarez, so they are out at 50/1, while Barcelona are priced at 80/1.
