Next Bond Theme Odds: Dua Lipa New Frontrunner But Oasis And Olivia Dean Keen

James Bond fans must surely be just a matter of weeks or even days away from hearing some confirmed casting news about the new Bond film, as we approach five years since No Time To Die was released.
Bond bosses, now Amazon MGM Studios, have kept schtum about who will play 007 so far, but there's plenty of speculation about it, and who will perform the next Bond theme, on betting sites.
Billie Eilish sang the titular track for 2021 movie No Time To Die, and another pop megastar has emerged as the new favourite to sing the next theme.
A Bond Dua Duo
Dua Lipa has plenty to celebrate at the moment after she got married in London at the end of May, and she and new husband Callum Turner had another nuptials in Palermo, Sicily, last weekend.
But Dua could soon have another big event to celebrate if prices on betting apps are anything to go by - because she is the new 11/10 frontrunner to sing the next Bond theme.
She could even do a special deal with Bond bosses - because her hubby Callum is favourite to be the next 007.
He is 11/10 with William Hill to land the prestigious role, and it would be some coup for the couple if he played the suave spy and she sang the theme tune for his first-ever Bond film.

While that would be a fairytale scenario for the newlyweds, Noel Gallagher might have something to say about it.
Earlier this year, the Oasis man admitted he would love to do the next Bond theme, after he reunited with brother Liam Gallagher last year for Oasis' 41-date comeback tour.
When asked in January whether he would be up for penning the next Bond song, he told talkSPORT: "Yeah, of course, it'd be an absolute honour.
"I think those kind of things should be done by Brits, not Yanks."
Oasis are just 5/4 second favourites to land the next Bond theme, but there looks to be other competition aside from Dua.

Is Bond The Man Olivia Needs?
Another musician who has thrown their hat into the ring is pop megastar Olivia Dean.
The Man I Need hitmaker might discover she needs suave spy James Bond in her life soon.
She is 13/8 to record the theme tune for 007's next instalment, after she recently recorded It Isn't Perfect But It Might Be, from movie Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy.
She said on The One Show: "I've never made a song before that's, like, not from my own perspective. I very much chronicle my own emotions.

"So it was quite fun to get into the Bridget Jones character. She's a very classic icon for me. And it was really fun. I loved it.
"I'd love to do it again. Next, I'd like to do Bond. If they'll have me, I will do it."
Raye isn't far behind Olivia at 15/8, followed by 5/2 shot Lana Del Rey.
Fans flocked to socials to back former market favourite Raye to perform the next Bond theme following last year's Oscars.
During a tribute to former Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson - whom the Academy honoured with lifetime achievement awards - Raye put in a pulsating performance of Adele's 2012 Bond theme Skyfall.
Adele is 8/1 to become just the second-ever star to sing more than one Bond theme, which would see her follow in the famous footsteps of Welsh icon Dame Shirley Bassey, who recorded the themes to three films - Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker.
Bond Has Been Expecting Lew
The late, great Sir Sean Connery was the first Scottish actor to portray James Bond, and some of his compatriots could be involved in the next movie.
Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi is just 2/1 to perform the next theme, and he would be up for it if his previous comments are anything to go by.
Speaking in 2020, he said: "I think, in general, I always say that the Bond theme is something that I think anybody would jump at the chance of, [or] at least try.
"I'm not sure how good I would be at executing it. I'm not sure how good I'd be at the whole kind of brooding, mysterious...I don’t know how good I would be at that considering what I'm like as a person."
Lewis' Scottish compatriots Biffy Clyro are just 6/1 to perform the next Bond movie theme, and if Amazon are up for a moody, yet rock-inspired anthem then Irish group Fontaines DC (3/1) could be the perfect choice.
If not, fellow Irish star Hozier (10/1) could provide some gospel-infused vocals instead.
