Next James Bond Theme Odds: Raye And Roan Do Battle For 007 Tune

It is all change on the James Bond film franchise after Amazon MGM recently assumed full creative control, but what does this mean for the future?
There is yet to be any concrete news about the 26th movie in the series, with fans keen to see who will replace Daniel Craig as the suave spy.
But one of the most anticipated parts of a Bond film is the iconic theme tune.
Several huge artists have recorded a Bond theme before, including Adele with Skyfall, Tina Turner's version of GoldenEye and Dame Shirley Bassey's memorable rendition of Diamonds Are Forever.
Several top stars feature in the Next Bond Theme market on betting sites, but only one is odds-on to land the coveted job.

Bond's Raye Of Light
Raye is the 8/11 favourite on betting apps to record the next theme, and a recent appearance at the Oscars will have done her no harm.
If Amazon MGM Studios bosses were watching the Academy's Bond tribute at this year's Oscars then they may now have a strong contender to perform the next movie’s main song.
During the tribute to outgoing Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson - who the Academy recently honoured with lifetime achievement awards - Raye showed what she can do with a Bond theme tune by putting in a powerful performance of Adele's Skyfall.
Raye's voice seems to be a great fit for a Bond theme, and it's not a huge surprise she is the market leader after that performance.
However, the British singer-songwriter's nearest competition is an American star - Chappell Roan.
The Good Luck, Babe! hitmaker made a huge breakthrough in 2024, and she has carried that into 2025 by winning Best International Artist at the BRIT Awards and Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards.
Chappell could continue that success by being picked to perform the next Bond theme.
Should the star get the nod, she wouldn't be the first American singer to record a Bond theme.
That title belongs to Nancy Sinatra, who sang the titular song of 1967 movie You Only Live Twice.
Dua's Double Role
Dua Lipa is just 4/1 to be hired for the next Bond theme - and she could provide the franchise's new bosses with a two-for-one deal.
The Houdini hitmaker has been linked to a part in the 26th Bond movie, as a potential Bond Girl, and she could also sing the accompanying tune.
Another potential positive for Dua is the fact her partner, fellow actor Callum Turner, is now among the frontrunners to be the next 007.
Should Callum get the nod it would be fitting to see the pop star perform the theme tune about her man's new alter-ego.
Other stars in contention include American heavyweights Teddy Swims (11/2), Lady Gaga (10/1) and Taylor Swift (12/1).
If Amazon bosses are hoping to have a huge streaming hit with the new tune then Swift could be their woman.
Every song she touches turns to gold, and it wouldn't be a surprise if a Bond theme was any different.
Second Time Lucky For Lana?
One star who might fancy their chances of giving a Bond theme another go is Lana Del Rey.
Last year, the Video Games singer told how she wrote her tune 24, which is on her album Honeymoon, for Bond's bosses - but it was rejected.
It's thought Lana's effort would've been a contender for 2015 movie Spectre.
When asked last year if she would consider writing a Bond theme, she told the BBC: "I mean, how has that not happened?"
She then sang part of her song 24, and added: "I wrote that for them."
However, Sam Smith's Writing's on the Wall, which hit number one in the UK chart, was chosen instead.
Lana said: "Sam, you did a wonderful job [laughs]."
Speaking about her Bond theme chances going forward, she said at the time: "One day, maybe...
"But I'm going to continue to do my little Nancy Sinatra thing every now and then and just pretend it's the title track."
Lana is 6/1 to finally get her chance to shine on the 007 stage, while Sam is 16/1 to break Lana's heart a second time.
Adele is also 16/1 to get the Bond theme nod for a second time, the same price as Muse and Lewis Capaldi.
