NBA Tips & Odds: The Panel's Picks And Best Bets For Tuesday

Our team of experts looks at several NBA contests this Tuesday night.

Let us focus on insights and odds from top betting sites. Below, we have looked over the first two play-in games.

Continue reading for The Panel's in-depth coverage and expert predictions as the NBA rolls into the start of the postseason with Tuesday night picks.

Memphis Grizzlies Vs Golden State Warriors Prediction: (O/U 229.5, Warriors -7)

Tuesday night starts us off by going in reverse. We open with the second game because Steph Curry is in a play-in game versus Ja Morant, which is what so few expected.

NBA fans and bettors alike will have many questions, and unfortunately, the focus must be on the here and now.

Also, Tuesday night’s games are televised on TNT/MAX. They know drama, and we may have some in Golden State.

This game feels like a waking nightmare for bettors. That 229.5-point game total and the over could be the way to go, as both Ja Morant and Steph Curry will want to put on a show.

The winner of this game gets to face the Houston Rockets. The loser plays on Thursday for their postseason lives.

Golden State went 7-3 over their final 10 games and were leapfrogged by the Los Angeles Clippers and Minnesota Timberwolves.

It is safe to say they are not too pleased with their current situation, but on the bright side, they did avoid Denver in Round 1.

Memphis went 4-6 over their final 10 contests and sometimes looked lackadaisical. Look at the losses more closely. Memphis dropped games to Boston, Denver, Minnesota and Golden State.

The Boston and Golden State losses were at home. The Warriors want to make a statement, so the Grizzlies may not know what hit them tonight.

Golden State may not drop 134 on Memphis like the last time but expect that pace and a cover.

Again, take that Golden State laying the points.

Atlanta Hawks Vs Orlando Magic Prediction: (O/U 217, Magic -5)

Let us flip the script and consider Tuesday night's game between Atlanta and Orlando.  Unlike Golden State and Memphis, who are both 48-34, this game features two teams around .500.

Orlando finished 41-41 and Atlanta 40-42 in the NBA regular season.

Both teams finished in a flurry. Atlanta won three straight games, and Orlando took seven of their final 10 contests. The two teams played each other on Sunday, with Atlanta winning by 12. Then again, Orlando rested several players.

Keep browsing around the many betting apps for the latest numbers.

This is a matchup of contrasting styles. Atlanta want to push the tempo, while Orlando play way more methodically and defensively.

The Magic allowed 105.5 points per game during the regular season, leading the NBA, while Orlando’s defensive rating came in second.

Orlando must slow this game down whenever possible, and defence has a way of winning.

The chances of Atlanta scoring 117 points again are low. Expect Orlando to grind their way to a win, as this won’t even be like the last time they were in Orlando, where the Magic won 119-112.

The Panel’s final pick is to go with the under here on Tuesday night.

The Panel Pick 2: Atlanta and Orlando Under 218.5 Points - 10/11 With BetMGM
