Stoke City are searching for a new manager and the best betting sites have drawn up a list of contenders.
The Potters sacked Alex Neil at the weekend after 16 months in charge.
The final straw was a 1-0 defeat by struggling Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, taking Stoke’s losing streak to four matches.
Having begun the season as play-off hopefuls, Stoke are now just two points clear of the relegation zone in the Championship.
They will be keen to make an appointment soon with the hectic festive fixture list on the horizon.

Eustace Leads Way But Mowbray Is A Contender Too
John Eustace is the odds-on favourite at 1/2 with football betting sites.
The former Birmingham City boss was harshly dismissed by that club earlier this season, and Wayne Rooney’s subsequent struggles at St Andrew’s have done his reputation no harm.
It is surely only a matter of time before Eustace lands another Championship job.
The question is whether this one appeals to the 44-year-old, who made 84 appearances for Stoke as a player.
Tony Mowbray is next on the list at 2/1. He only recently left Sunderland and may want some time away from the game before he gets his next job. Stoke may wish to speak to him regardless.
Schumacher More Probable Than Potter Despite Odds
Graham Potter is the third-favourite at 8/1 with Parimatch, but it is difficult to imagine him rocking up at the Bet365 Stadium any time soon.
His last job was at Chelsea and although things did not work out for Potter at Stamford Bridge, Potter has enough credit in the bank for his next job to be in the Premier League.
Steven Schumacher is a more plausible candidate for Stoke, even though he is available at the longer price of 10/1.
He led Plymouth Argyle to promotion from League One last term and continues to do a good job at Home Park. Schumacher has also been linked with the Sunderland vacancy.
Beale And Parker Among The Dark Horses
Michael Beale and Scott Parker are both available at 12/1 with BetVictor to take on the role.
The former is regarded as a bright young coach who worked alongside Steven Gerrard at Rangers and Aston Villa, but things did not go well when Beale was handed the reins at Ibrox.
That would probably make him a risky appointment for Stoke, although it should be noted that Queens Park Rangers were flying high under his guidance in 2022.
Parker has got teams out of the Championship before, having guided Fulham and Bournemouth to promotion. He has been out of work since leaving Club Brugge in March.
Nuno Unlikely While Smith An Outsider
Nuno Espirito Santo is available following his departure from Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ittihad last month.
The Portuguese may well be eyeing a return to the English game, but he would presumably prefer a role in the Premier League or the upper echelons of the Championship.
Stoke would have to offer him an attractive package for odds of 14/1 to pay off.
Dean Smith is an interesting choice at 20/1. He previously led Aston Villa to promotion to the Premier League, although Smith in his next job at Norwich City before an interim spell at Leicester City.
He may well be under consideration by the Stoke board as they search for a new boss.

Lampard And Cowley Lower Down The Betting List
It is not yet clear whether Frank Lampard intends to continue his managerial career.
He coached both Everton and Chelsea last season but is currently out of work. Lampard previously guided Derby County to the Championship play-off final.
But given he subsequently managed Chelsea across two different spells, the England international may not be willing to drop back down to the second tier of English football.
Lampard is available at 20/1 with betting apps, as is Danny Cowley. Frankly, it would be a surprise to see the latter rock up at Stoke.
He has never managed in the Championship before and was sacked by League One outfit Portsmouth in January, since when he has been away from the dugout.
