Rhys Williams' Racing Tips: 2 Selections For Thursday

Horse racing expert Rhys Williams is sharing his best selections for Thursday's action.
Rhys has been a racing analyst for over 10 years, working for At The Races and, most recently, as a tipster for Betfair, where his tipping column achieved a 31% ROI over 4.5 years.
He often focuses on the back end of the market, finding angles that aren't evident to most.
Rhys' tips have returned 401.42 points from 256.0 points staked, meaning his profit and loss record stands at a whopping +145.42pts overall - thanks to Friday's 66/1 winner (Unquite Dreams).
Here are Rhys' tips for today, using the most up-to-date odds from the best horse racing betting sites.

14:55 Sandown: Grey Tamam - 0.5pts Each-Way @ 12/1
Grey Tamam made a promising debut at Nottingham and I think she has a better chance of being competitive in this Listed company than the market suggests.
She was a bit slowly into stride before tracking one of the two joint favourites.
She travelled strongly in behind, but when asked to quicken two furlongs out, Grey Tamam raced greenly and couldn’t go with the leader before running on well as she learned what was required of her to finish third.
I think that was quite a strong race and the two horses with previous experience, who had run to a fair level, were beaten by the four newcomers. Nicely, who finished just ahead of Grey Tamam, has since won a maiden with ease.
The way that Grey Tamam finished off the race suggests she can improve for the step up to seven furlongs and she is likely to be sharper having gained that experience so that can cause improvement too.
Any double-figure prices appeal.
Rhys' Selection 1: 14:55 Sandown: Grey Tamam - 0.5pts Each-Way
20:48 Newbury: One Cool Dreamer - 1pt Win @ 12/1
One Cool Dreamer didn’t quite see out the trip on his stable debut at Kempton last time and I think he can take a step forward from that now back down in trip.
He raced handily at Kempton and was still in contention two furlongs out before fading in the final furlong to be beaten just over ten lengths.
That was over two miles and while this is a significant step back in trip, I think he can cope with that.
His two wins were over this trip and this race is likely to be well run so a good test at this distance could be ideal for him.
One Cool Dreamer also has the benefit of having Lucas Murphy in the saddle.
His claim in amateur races is a big advantage and he’s arguably the best jockey riding in this race so that is a big positive for One Cool Dreamer’s chance.
There is the concern that the effect the cheekpieces have had is starting to wear off a little and he might be better once blinkers are fitted, but I think he’s overpriced in a race of this level and any 15/2 or bigger appeals.
Rhys' Selection 2: 20:48 Newbury: One Cool Dreamer - 1pt Win
