Taylor Swift Odds: Which Stars Are Lined Up For New Album Collaboration?

Taylor Swift Odds: Which Stars Are Lined Up For New Album Collaboration?

While 13 is an unlucky number for some, it's always been Taylor Swift's lucky number, and it sounds like her 13th studio album is in the works.

Taylor recently sparked speculation that she is working on a new record after she was spotted outside Electric Lady Studios in New York City, and as a result, betting sites are rife with speculation about who might guest star.

One of Swift's best mates, Haim's Alana Haim, was spotted alongside her, as was producer Benny Blanco.

She is said to have pulled an all-nighter at the studios, where she previously recorded Lover, Folklore and Midnights.

Some have even suggested Swift might collaborate with 13 other artists to mark her 13th studio album, but who will they be?

Here, we look at the stars rumoured to be in contention to feature.

Taylor's Besties

Swift is known to have a close-knit friendship with Haim rockers Este, Danielle, and Alana, and it would be no surprise if they appeared on her next album.

Haim and Taylor previously collaborated on the tune No Body, No Crime, and Alana was even spotted during Swift's recent reported recording session.

It's just 8/13 on betting apps that Swift joins forces with Alana or her Haim sisters for a tune on her new record.

While it's not yet known if Swift is definitely working on a new album, one huge life event she has been busy planning is her wedding.

The Love Story hitmaker is to marry NFL superstar Travis Kelce later this year - at New York City's Madison Square Garden, if recent reports are correct - and it's just 4/6 he also features on her new album.

While Kelce is no professional singer, he did appear on stage during her Eras Tour and is thought to be the subject of several of her songs, including The Alchemy, which features numerous NFL nods.

Swift's British Inspo

While Taylor was born in America, she has plenty of pals across the pond, including British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.

It's just 4/5 that the Thinking Out Loud hitmaker collaborates with Taylor on her new album, after they previously hooked up on tunes Everything Has Changed, End Game, and his song The Joker and The Queen.

Taylor and Scottish group Chvrches (Evens) have also had a mutual respect for years.

"There's plenty of Taylor Swift wedding buzz around, but there's now increased speculation surrounding who might collaborate with the star on her rumoured new album. Haim are in pole position, but her husband-to-be Travis Kelce also looks likely to feature. Taylor's new record could even be subjected to a British and Irish takeover if the likes of Ed Sheeran, Chvrches, and Niall Horan land collaborations with the pop megastar - but 13 might be unlucky for Niall's One Direction bandmate and Taylor's ex, Harry Styles. Or could they reunite for a shock collab?"

She is thought to be a fan of the electro-pop group, and some critics compared their 2015 album, Every Open Eye, to Swift's 2014 record, 1989.

Chvrches frontwoman Lauren Mayberry previously told NME: "I think 1989 is a great pop record, one of the best things to come out of that particular trend of music."

Irish singers Hozier (13/8) and Niall Horan (7/2) have also been complimentary about Swift in the past.

Hozier previously thanked Taylor for some "great" career support, and Horan once described Swift as "one of the greatest songwriters of her generation".

Northern Ireland-born Gary Lightbody previously worked with Swift on her track The Last Time, which featured on her 2012 album Red, and he's 6/1 to sing on her new record.

However, a hat-trick of Brits who Swift will no doubt swerve when it comes to her next album are three of her exes - Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, Niall's One Direction bandmate Harry Styles, and 1975 frontman Matty Healy.

All three are 100/1 to guest star on Taylor's 13th studio album.
