The Masters 2025 Betting Odds: The Best Specials Bets

The US Masters always has a rich array of specials markets aside from the usual outrights, and The Panel have studied the best betting sites to pick out a handful for the first major of the year.

Augusta favourites, each-way tips and first-round leader have already been covered by The Panel, but now it’s the turn of some of the quirkier side bets as part of this week’s US Masters betting tips.

The top debutant is always an interesting market and The Panel have picked one of two Englishmen playing at Augusta National for the first time.

US Masters 2025 Top Debutant Betting Tips: Aaron Rai

Rai heads to one of the most iconic golf courses on the planet in good shape despite a missed cut at the Houston Open two weeks ago.

Players like Tony Finau and eventual winner Min Woo Lee remarked on the similarities between Memorial Park and Augusta, so to miss the weekend by four shots was disappointing to say the least.

The only positive from that weekend was that he bounced back from a first-round 73 with a two-under-par 68 on Friday.

Although Rai is a debutant at Augusta, he visited the course in late February to play a practice round with his father, reportedly shooting a two-over par 74, so he has an advantage over some of his rivals.

The 30-year-old from Wolverhampton has also been playing well in the first few months of the season, finishing inside the top 15 in half of his eight tournaments which included 11th place at Sawgrass, a course he knows very well.

Augusta is undoubtedly a second-shot course and it’s encouraging that Rai stands high in the Strokes Gained: Approach and Tee-to-Green metrics in the early part of the season.

The Panel are willing to dismiss Rai’s blip in Houston and focus on his undoubted ability which brought him a maiden PGA Tour title at the Wyndham Championship last August.

He has some tough opposition to overcome like Thomas Detry, Rasmus Hojgaard, Taylor Pendrith, Kevin Yu and the up-and-coming Davis Riley, but The Panel are flying the flag for England and backing Rai to finish as top debutant at 15/2 with golf betting sites.

US Masters 2025 Top LIV Golfer Betting Tips: Joaquin Niemann

There are plenty of LIV golfers at the top of the market, but which one will finish ahead of the rest on Sunday evening?

Jon Rahm, the 2023 winner, heads the field ahead of reigning US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau, who was sixth last year - his best performance by far at Augusta National.

Rahm is going well in this year’s LIV Golf League, having been crowned individual champion in 2024, but DeChambeau is some way off his position from the first two years on the tour when he finished fourth (2023) and eighth (2024).

Instead, The Panel prefer the chances of Joaquin Niemann, who leads the table thanks to his victories in Adelaide and Singapore.

Niemann got off to a similar winning start in 2024 with wins in Mayakoba and Jeddah, so this seems to be the time of year when he thrives.

The Chilean hits plenty of greens, smashes it a mile off the tee and is a decent putter, so he looks to have the skills to tame a beast like Augusta.

Niemann has made the cut in his last four appearances at this major (40-35-16-22) and is gradually improving despite a slight downturn last year.

The Panel like his chances and he can be backed at 6/1 with betting apps in the US Masters top LIV golfer odds.

US Masters 2025 Top 20 Tips: Robert MacIntyre

There have been plenty of victories for left-handed players at Augusta this century and although Robert MacIntyre may fall short in joining the likes of Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson and Mike Weir in wearing the Green Jacket, there is every reason to think the Scot could launch a bold challenge this week.

MacIntyre has been inside the world’s top 20 since his exhilarating victory at the Genesis Scottish Open which came just six weeks after his first PGA Tour title at the Canadian Open.

The Oban man has carried his 2024 form into the new year which has brought about six top 20s in nine appearances, including 11th at The Players Championship.

Although he is making his first appearance at Augusta in three years, his previous two visits were encouraging; 12th on his 2021 debut and 23rd a year later.

Just as encouraging is the fact that only Collin Morikawa, Scottie Scheffler, Rory Mclroy and Shane Lowry have been better than MacIntyre from tee to green in 2025, while his approach stats also make for pleasant reading.

Those are the skills required to win on this course and although it could be his putting that lets him down this week, The Panel are on board MacIntyre as one of their US Masters Top 20 betting tips.

US Masters Top 30 Tips: JJ Spaun

JJ Spaun is making just his second appearance at Augusta, but he heads to Georgia in good nick after a couple of runner-up finishes in recent weeks.

The American finished a couple of shots behind Joe Highsmith at the Cognizant Classic and followed that up with a heartbreaking play-off defeat to Rory McIlroy at The Players Championship which propelled him into the top 30 in the world rankings.

That would have been only his second PGA Tour title following his success at the Texas Open three years ago, but despite missing out by a whisker, the American is clearly in a good place.

Spaun’s sole visit to Augusta came in 2022 when he finished a respectable 23rd, so it does not look beyond him to post another top 30 now that he has hit peak form.

The Panel have been stressing the importance of the Strokes Gained: Approach metric this week and it’s even more encouraging to see that only Collin Morikawa has better numbers than Spaun for the first three months of the year.

Furthermore, Spaun is in the top 10 for SG: Tee-To-Green this season, so he certainly catches the eye at 150/1

However, The Panel are on board Spaun finishing inside the top 30 at 13/8 as one of their US Masters specials tips.

US Masters Odds: Max Homa To Miss The Cut

Elite players are usually fighting it out for supremacy on the final stretch, but occasionally even the best players fail to make it to the weekend.

Last year, Justin Thomas, Viktor Hovland, Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Justin Rose and Wyndham Clark all missed the cut.

That was the second successive year that Thomas had a free weekend at Augusta, but he has made the cut in all eight of his tournaments in 2025 which has yielded two runner-up spots and a couple of other top 10s.

It’s likely Thomas will be around on Saturday and Sunday, so instead The Panel like the look of Max Homa to miss the cut at Augusta.

This has been a season to forget for Homa, who has no form to rely on ahead of this week's Masters.

Homa followed up a 26th in the Sentry at the start of the year, by withdrawing from the Farmers Insurance Open.

He tied for 53rd at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am before missing the cut in each of his last five events.

It's hard to see how the 34-year-old will replicate his third-placed finish from last year and he is 6/5 to miss the cut this week as the last of The Panel’s US Masters specials.
