The Masters Betting Tips: 6 Each-Way Selections From Augusta

Scottie Scheffler remains the 9/2 favourite with golf betting sites to retain his US Masters title ahead of Rory McIlroy, who enters his 11th year trying to complete the career grand slam of majors.
As mentioned in The Panel’s US Masters outright piece, five of the last six winners have been priced at 16/1 or lower, so the trend suggests a player from the top of the market is going to be wearing the Green Jacket on Sunday night.
Let’s not forget that between 2016-18, Danny Willett (66/1), Sergio Garcia (45/1) and Patrick Reed (55/1) all pulled off surprising wins, none more remarkable than the man from Sheffield, who took advantage of Jordan Spieth’s meltdown to win by three shots.
Although the winner is likely to come from a player inside the world’s top 20, betting apps are offering more than the usual five or six each-way places at the Masters, so it’s worth taking a look at those who could contend at Augusta National – or even do a Willett!
With that in mind, here are The Panel’s best US Masters each-way bets and a couple of players that catch the eye at triple-figure prices.
The Masters Each-Way Tips: Robert MacIntyre
MacIntyre enjoyed a brilliant 2024 when he won both the Canadian Open and the Scottish Open which was The Panel’s headline tip at 45/1 back in July.
The Scot is hoping to join the likes of fellow left-handers Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson and Mike Weir in winning the US Masters this century and all the signs point towards a bold bid.
MacIntyre has cemented his place in the world’s top 20 with an excellent start to the year on the PGA Tour, posting three top 10s, including The Players Championship, and 11th place at Bay Hill.
Interestingly, he decided to skip the two warm-up events in Texas, instead playing in Singapore where he only arrived the day before the tournament started, although thankfully the first day was washed out.
Experience of playing at Augusta is essential for those hoping to challenge for the title, so it’s encouraging that MacIntyre finished 12th on his 2021 debut and he was inside the top 25 in the following year in his only other appearance.
The 28-year-old from Oban is also in the top 20 for two of the most important Strokes Gained metrics – approach and tee-to-green – so the signs look good for another decent effort from a player that can be backed at 50/1 generally with betting sites, but The Panel are taking the eight places at 40/1 with Bet365.
The Masters Prediction 1: Robert MacIntyre (Win) - 40/1 With Bet365 (Eight Places)

The Masters Each-Way Predictions: Min Woo Lee
Min Woo Lee won his first PGA Tour title at the Houston Open and now the Australian has set his sights on bigger things, having posted six top 20s in his eight appearances this season.
Lee had not originally planned to play at Memorial Park, but the course’s similarities to Augusta, such as rough which is not unduly penal, pine needles off the fairway and water being in play on key closing holes, meant a change of heart which turned out to be a masterstroke.
He said: “It’s actually not that different (to Augusta National). The rough isn’t overly thick. Putt well and chip well, and do everything I guess, but it’s great confidence.
“I love The Masters and Augusta, and I’ve played good there before. Let’s do our best and hopefully we’ll be up there on the leaderboard.”

Lee was 14th on his Masters debut in 2022 and although he missed the cut in the following year, he was just outside the top 20 at Augusta 12 months ago.
The par-72 course measures 7,555 yards but is made even longer by the fact the fairway is mowed towards the tee boxes, so drives tend to stop very quickly.
Lee is one of the longest hitters on the PGA Tour at 316 yards on average which will be a definite advantage and his putting is exceptional, so the question is whether he can handle the lightning fast bentgrass greens.
His tee-to-green stats aren’t great, but they were strong at Memorial Park and he looks an excellent each-way tip at 35/1 for eight places.
The Masters Each-Way Tip 2: Min Woo Lee (Win) - 35/1 With Bet365 (Eight Places)
The Masters Each-Way Long Shots: Sepp Straka
LIV golfers Joaquin Niemann, Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau should all be in the mix this week, but at much higher odds, The Panel prefer the prospects of Sepp Straka, one of the best ball-strikers on the PGA Tour.
The Austrian broke into the world’s top 20 on the back of his impressive victory at PGA West in January, one of seven top 20s from 10 appearances this year.
Straka has made the cut in all three previous visits to Augusta: 30th on his 2022 debut, 46th a year later and 12 months ago he produced his best performance of all (T16) despite a closing 74.
What gives Straka the edge over many of his rivals this year are his Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green (7th) and Approach stats (5th), essential for someone who hits the ball around 295 yards off the tee.
Americans have won six of the last 10 US Masters renewals, but Jon Rahm, Sergio Garcia and Danny Willett have all triumphed during that period, so Straka is not without hope at 50/1 with betting apps.
The Masters Each-Way Tip 3: Sepp Straka (Win) - 50/1 With Bet365 (Eight Places)
The Masters Each-Way Tips: Patrick Reed
Reed may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but he is a former US Masters champion with an excellent pedigree at Augusta and stands out at 70/1 to repeat his success from seven years ago.
The American, of course, plays on the LIV Golf tour where he has hardly been pulling up trees.
Reed remains winless in his three years on the controversial tour after finishing in a tie for seventh in Miami this weekend. He played well in DP World Tour events at the Dubai Desert Classic and in the UAE earlier in the year.
He invariably plays well at Augusta where he has been inside the top 12 in five of his last seven appearances.
The Panel prefer to take odds of 60/1 for the eight places on offer with Bet365 as the fourth leg of their US Masters each-way tips.
The Masters Each-Way Tip 4: Patrick Reed (Win) - 60/1 With Bet365 (Eight Places)
The Masters Long Shots: JJ Spaun And Harris English
JJ Spaun finished runner-up to Rory McIlroy at The Players Championship having also finished second at the old Honda Classic two weeks earlier, so he looks well priced at 125/1 (eight places) for a decent showing at Augusta.
The American has played the US Masters just once before, finishing inside the top 25 in 2022, so that is cause for optimism.
Harris English won his fifth PGA Tour title at Torrey Pines in January and he can be backed at 150/1 (eight places) to land a maiden major.
English, who is actually American, has made the cut in his last four trips to Augusta and although he has yet to break into the top 20, he had an encouraging four days at Memorial Park (T18) which bodes well.
The Masters Long-Shot Each-Way Tip 1: JJ Spaun (Win) - 125/1 With Bet365 (Eight Places)
The Masters Long-Shot Each-Way Tip 2: Harris English (Win) - 150/1 With Bet365 (Eight Places)
