Napoli striker Victor Osimhen could spark a major bidding war for the rest of January after admitting that he is open to leaving the club in the future.
Betting sites have responded by offering odds on his next destination, with Chelsea currently leading the race.
It is easy to see why Europe’s richest clubs are keen to sign the Nigerian superstar, as he has blazed a trail of destruction across Serie A for a number of years.
Osimhen was the league’s top scorer last season, and his prolific form in front of goal has continued when he has been available for selection in 2023/24.
Despite the Nigeria international recently signing a contract extension until 2026 with Napoli, he has expressed his desire to play in the Premier League at some stage of his career.
The 25-year-old joined Gli Azzurri for a club record €70m in 2020, and he has blossomed into a world-class forward since then, so he would command a hefty fee.
However, elite goalscorers are few and far between in world football, so many clubs would be prepared to pay the price, and we have rounded up the leading contenders below.
Could Osimhen Make The Move To The Capital?
Chelsea’s may have added Nicolas Jackson to their ranks in the summer, but Mauricio Pochettino could look at adding someone of Osimhen's pedigree to his squad for the second half of the season.
They have spent a record-breaking sum on new players since Todd Boehly purchased the club, but currently sit just three places above their 12th place finish of last season midway through the current campaign.

If the Nigerian does head to the capital, Arsenal may be a more suitable destination, as their lack of firepower provides ample opportunity for a someone of Osimhen's quality.
The Gunners still don't have a player who is into double figures in the league this season and they are the lowest scorers of the Premier League's current top five.
Mikel Arteta has varied the starting striker position between Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah and Kai Havertz, but none of the three have had the desired effect and Osimhen would get the chance to make the position his own.

Should Osimhen wish to make the move into the Saudi Pro League, odds of 12/1 are available.
While the league may not be as competitive as what Europe has to offer, a plethora of Saudi clubs could offer the Nigerian a lucrative salary that he may not find anywhere else.
But, the Napoli striker has already rejected an offer from Al-Hilal in the summer, which suggests his aspiration to conquer Europe is a priority.
The Saudi club were rumoured to have tabled an offer in the region of £120m for the striker, but a move across Europe seems more plausible at this stage.
PSG Are Keeping Tabs On The Forward
PSG are still none the wiser as to where Kylian Mbappe will be playing his footbal next season, and if he departs the Ligue 1 champions, he leaves an enormous void which would need to be filled.
They could turn to Osimhen as his replacement and potentially make him the new poster boy for the French side.

With age on his side, Osimhen could lead the line for at least the next five years, but would face competition from Goncalo Ramos for the number nine role.

Madrid And Spurs Make Up The Outsiders
Real Madrid and Tottenham are both priced at 25/1 to win the race for Osimhen’s signature.
Los Blancos look like they could do with a striker on paper, but Jude Bellingham's impact has been imperious, with the Englishman sitting top of the La Liga goalscoring charts.
Tottenham also provide an interesting option and they would perhaps be a lot shorter with the bookies had they not announced the signing of Timo Werner recently.
Although Werner and Richarlison have flashes of brilliance within them, Osimhen would represent an upgrade on what they currently have.
