Celebrity Race Across The World 2025 Odds: Roman And Harleymoon New Favourites

Celebrity Race Across The World has lived up to its epic billing this year, with the market lead regularly changing hands on betting sites. 

Last week's episode was no different, as DJ Tyler West and actor/singer Molly Rainford went into episode four as the frontrunners, but they found themselves propping up the outright market when the teams reached the fourth checkpoint in Bocas del Toro, Panama.

The show involves four pairings - broadcaster Anita Rani and her father Balvinder; actor Dylan Llewellyn and his mum Jackie; broadcaster Roman Kemp and his sister, singer-songwriter Harleymoon; and Tyler and Molly - travelling 5,900km on a budget without phones or air travel.

However, the teams were forced to fly in the latest episode, because the BBC didn't receive permission to film in Nicaragua. 

Narrator John Hannah said on the show: "As permission to film in the neighbouring country of Nicaragua was not granted, teams will resume the race just 90km away from its border in Liberia, Costa Rica."

Dylan And Jackie Take The Lead 

From Costa Rica, the pairings made their way to Panama, and there were new leaders by the end of the leg. 

Dylan and his mum Jackie kicked off the race with two fourth-place finishes, followed by a third place, and just before they reached the latest checkpoint, the mother and son duo predicted a similar finish. 

However, they were left absolutely delighted upon realising they had reached Bocas del Toro before their rivals.

Jackie said: "I can't believe it, can you Dylan?"

And he replied: "I still can't believe it. It's still not sunk in."

Jackie admitted it just showed they could race and enjoy themselves at the same time, and Dylan joked they could "maybe save a little more money". 

While they did splash out £79 on an 80km boat trip, the pair admitted it was well worth it for the experience. 

At the beginning of the episode, Dylan insisted he and his mother were "dark horses" in the race, and so far they are on a similar journey to this year's Race Across the World winners, mother and son duo Caroline and Tom. 

The pair began the fifth series of the civilian series last, followed by fourth out of five, before finding confidence and winning the £20,000 prize money. 

Despite taking the lead in the latest leg of the celebrity series, Dylan and Jackie are second favourites on entertainment betting sites, at 6/4, just behind frontrunners Roman and Harleymoon Kemp. 

Roman And Harleymoon 'Back In The Game' 

Roman and Harleymoon began episode four seven hours and six minutes behind then-leaders Molly and Tyler. 

However, they are now up to second position and just 31 minutes behind leaders Dylan and Jackie, with Roman declaring: "We're back in the game." 

The TV presenter kept their purse strings tight in leg four, as he has throughout the race, and they even worked twice during the latest episode. 

But Roman and Harleymoon's deep pockets could give them a huge advantage as the four pairings head into the business end of the race. 

Despite catching up most of their seven-hour deficit, Roman and Harleymoon still had some bad luck along the way.

After one of their work placements, the brother and sister pair got a free lift from their boss, but he got a flat tyre.

They later missed a bus by five minutes, and Roman thought that moment could cost them dearly in the race. 

However, the pair will go into episode five as the 11/8 favourites on betting apps. 

Chasing Pack 

The top three teams were separated by just eight minutes at the beginning of episode four, and there is now only 43 minutes between them. 

Anita and Bal are in third place, 43 minutes behind Dylan and Jackie, but admitted that sort of lead means "nothing" in this race.

They should know after previously being nearly 24 hours in front after leg one. 

In the latest leg, Anita and Bal had a disconnected journey through Costa Rica by bus.

At one stage, TV presenter Anita grew concerned when she sent her dad off to a bank to change dollars into local currency, and he only just made it back in time for their next bus.

Couple Molly and Tyler are propping up the outright market at 3/1, but viewers don't know just how far behind they are. 

The latest episode ended before Tyler and Molly reached the checkpoint, but if the first four episodes are anything to go by, it is still anyone's race to win ahead of Thursday night's next instalment.
