Stake Opens Engine Casino Platform To Rival Operators

Stake is opening its in-house casino game-development platform to other betting and gaming operators, turning technology it built to run its own business into a business-to-business product.
The platform, previously called Stake Engine, has been rebranded simply as Engine and will let rival operators access creator-made games and development tools through a single integration.
What Engine Offers Operators
Engine brings game development, testing, approval, deployment, distribution and monetisation together on one platform.
Studios and other creators, including independent developers, streamers and affiliates, will be able to build and distribute games through the system, while operators can also use its infrastructure to run their own creator networks rather than relying solely on traditional game studios.
Engine's network already comprises more than 1,000 game publishers and providers, with more than 250 new titles entering development each week, according to The Straight. Stake said games built through the platform have generated turnover exceeding $23 billion, based on 9.7 billion bets.
Company Comment
"We're building on that solid foundation that we've created and taking the Engine model beyond Stake," Stake co-founder Ed Craven said. "We want creators to be able to build new and exciting games, and broaden that reach to audiences across the industry."
Engine's head of operations, Hayden Bruin, said the platform's streamlined pipeline means a developer can, in some cases, reach launch within 24 hours of having an idea.

Part Of A Wider Group Push Into B2B
Stake is closely linked to Melbourne-based technology company EasyGo, which reported $970 million in revenue and $257 million in net profit for the 2024/25 financial year.
The Engine launch follows Stake's earlier move to spin out its in-house game studios as a standalone supplier brand, Juice, extending the same player-facing-to-supplier pattern across more of its technology stack.
Stake operates as a crypto-friendly sportsbook and online casino registered in Curacao, and says it serves more than 44 million customers across 169 countries.
The group has been expanding its supplier-side business beyond its own consumer platform this year, following the earlier spin-out of its in-house game studios into a standalone brand, Juice, a pattern Engine now extends to the wider development and distribution toolset that underpins Stake's own casino product.
