FanDuel Becomes Official NFL Sports Betting Partner in Canada

FanDuel Canada announced Wednesday that it has entered into a multi-year partnership with the National Football League as an Official Sportsbook Partner in Canada.
FanDuel Growing in North America
This announcement comes as FanDuel continues to spread its brand across Canada and as an operator for sports betting in Ontario, allowing football fans in the country to engage with the sport.
With this partnership, FanDuel will have the right to use official NFL and member club IP “in a variety of ways to engage fans in an authentic way.”
FanDuel will also be creating NFL-branded free-to-play games and campaigns, such as FanDuel users winning trips to NFL games, including the Super Bowl.
As for NFL digital platforms, you will find FanDuel advertising there, including nfl.com.
“We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with the NFL to Canada,” Dale Hooper, General Manager, FanDuel Canada, said in a news release. “Ontario sports fans are passionate about American football, and this collaborative effort will bring them more ways to enjoy the sport with friends and family in a fun and responsible way.”
“With the FanDuel partnership in Canada we are able to provide fans with unique and entertaining experiences that will continue to drive high engagement for both organizations,” Gavin Kemp, Director of Corporate Partnerships, NFL Canada, said in the release. “FanDuel is an established global leader in the gaming space and we are excited to bring Canadian NFL fans even closer to the game.”
FanDuel Grows With Broadcasting Partner
Additionally, FanDuel will continue to build its relationship with TSN, the exclusive broadcast partner for the NFL in Canada. Examples include ways for fans to interact with NFL-themed content across TSN and NFL platforms.
Further, TSN will integrate FanDuel Sportsbook into its storytelling and coverage “to provide viewers with an innovative perspective on the leading NFL stories of each week.”
To support the NFL’s commitment to protecting the integrity of the game, FanDuel will “adhere to the NFL’s core integrity policies, collaborate with the NFL on intelligence sharing, and use official League data.”
FanDuel believes “it is critical to lead from the front on responsible gambling and safer play.”
As a result, FanDuel will utilize its “Play Well” approach to ensure no wager placed on its platform results in hurting themselves or someone else.
