BetLabel's 100% deposit match up to €100 welcome offer is decent, but it comes with a hefty wagering requirement.

I signed up and deposited €20 via Visa, making sure to select the sports bonus to get my €20 in free bets.

However, I had to play through the 5x wagering requirement before I could use the free bets.

A 5x requirement means you must place bets equal to five times the bonus amount before the money is released as withdrawable cash.

For example, a €100 bonus requires you to place €500 in qualifying bets.

While the depth of markets is excellent, the real draw is value.

The bookmaker operates with an extremely low margin, often achieving a 97% payout rate on major markets, like Premier League football.

Getting a price of 21/20, where a competitor offers Evens (1/1), is common here as low operational costs allow BetLabel to be more generous with their prices.

However, this model means BetLabel misses some key promotions and features.

There's no best odds guaranteed - a standard promotion at the best horse racing betting sites - which is a significant miss.

But the most significant practical drawback for me was the lack of a bet builder - I use other bookies whenever I want to combine multiple bets from the same game.

The live betting section is somewhat cluttered, but it offers a vast array of available sports and markets to bet on in-play.

My favourite feature is the multi-live dashboard, which allows you to track four different live events simultaneously, with all the shifting odds displayed in one place.

It made managing multiple live bets far easier, and the odds update quickly enough for proper in-play betting.

Live streaming is available for minor events and Esports - the range of Esports streams is particularly impressive. 

Meanwhile, visual trackers, scoreboards and live statistics are helpful for live betting on major events in football, tennis and golf. 

Adding horse racing streams would boost BetLabel's overall score, as its current lack is a significant gap in its live offering. 

User Experience & Site Design

The site's design is the main area I feel needs an overhaul.

It uses a dark theme with light green odds, which is easy on the eyes, but the screen is too dense with information.

All available markets and promotions are visible at once, which is overwhelming.

And it lacks the intuitive, easy-to-use navigation you get with a site like LiveScore Bet.

You have to search through an extensive menu manually, rather than relying on quick links to popular competitions and sports.

Despite the visual clutter, the site is quite fast - pages and betting slips load almost instantly, which definitely saves a lot of time when trying to place a live bet.

The easiest way to get in touch is via live chat, which is available 24/7 - when I contacted them, I was connected within 30 seconds.

My query was answered promptly, but the response felt a little scripted and bot-like to me.

For non-urgent issues, I'd recommend email - as the responses are more considered and feel like they're coming from a real person.

BetLabel don't offer support over the phone, which is a convenient feature I miss from sites like Betfred.

However, the absence of key features, such as a bet builder, best odds guaranteed, and a dedicated betting app, means I can't score it as highly as its established rivals.  

There's a lot to like here, so it earns a 7/10 - adding a few of the features mentioned above would significantly boost the score.
