Cheltenham Festival Odds: Who Will Win The Prestbury Cup On the Final Day?

The Prestbury Cup is a great rivalry between Great Britain and Ireland to see who will have the most winners at the Cheltenham Festival.
The Irish have won every edition of the Prestbury Cup since 2020, mainly due to the domination of Willie Mullins and they were priced as short as 1/12 to win it again this year before the festival began.
But the British had a point to prove and after The New Lion won the Turners on Wednesday they had a two-point lead, but Ireland completed a clean sweep on the rest of the card to take command.
Ireland also got the upper hand on Thursday as they edged out 4-3 winners to take a 13-8 lead into the final day of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival.
Betting apps now price Ireland as the 1/25 favourites to win the cup for the fifth year in a row, with Great Britain trading at 16/1.
Ireland In Charge
Great Britain got their Prestbury Cup hopes off to a flyer on Tuesday with four winners in Jango Baie, Myretown, Golden Ace and Haiti Coleurs.
Ireland didn't dominate day one as expected, but they did pick up three winners in Kopek Des Bordes, Lossiemouth and Puturhandstogether, while State Man was an unlucky loser in the Champion Hurdle.
The home side continued their winning form on Wednesday as The New Lion claimed the opener for the Skelton brothers, but the Irish hit back to win the next six races, making the score 9-5 to the Irish at the halfway stage.

Ireland can thank the Henry De Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore partnership for a brace of winners on Thursday as they were successful with Air Of Entitlement and Bob Olinger.
Mullins added another winner to his collection as Fact To File stamped his class in the Ryanair Chase, while Daily Present was a welcome winner for Paul Nolan in the finale.
Ireland now have a 13-8 lead going into Friday, which means Great Britain need a miracle to win the Prestbury Cup.
Prestbury Cup Odds: Friday, March 14
The Triumph Hurdle looks likely to go to Britain as East India Dock and Lulamba battle it out for favouritism on betting sites in what looks like one of the clashes of the week.
The Irish have the top four in the betting for the County Hurdle and the same can be said for the Mares' Chase which both look highly likely to go to the Emerald Isle.
The Albert Bartlett is typically one of the hardest races of the week to predict and once again it looks like a very open affair that could go either way.
Galopin Des Champs is the odds-on favourite with horse racing betting sites for Gold Cup glory, but were he to fluff his lines the Irish still have several fancied horses in the race to fall back on.
The Hunters' Chase and the Martin Pipe both look like they should go the way of Ireland, too, which would round off another dominant week for the Irish.
