Irish Weekend Racing Tips: Three Selections For Saturday And Sunday

This weekend's Irish racing includes action on the flat and over jumps.
Saturday sees national hunt racing at Navan, where the Listed Novice Handicap Chase takes centre stage.
On Sunday, the new flat racing season continues at Naas with a mix of maiden and handicap contests.
Here, we look at three horses to consider backing over the weekend and the best odds from betting sites.
Saturday, March 22 - 15:20 Navan - Butch Cassidy
C'est Ta Chance will be all the rage in what is a decent Novice Hurdle, and it is easy to see why.
He is the class act in the race, but I am willing to take him on with the Henry de Bromhead-trained Butch Cassidy.
Winner of a bumper and maiden hurdle, he was found out in Grade One company at this track last time, but he can be forgiven for that.
Stepping up in trip should bring out some more improvement, and his connections could hardly be in better form.
Irish Racing Weekend Tips
- Saturday, 15:20 Navan - Butch Cassidy - 1pt Win
- Sunday, 13:28 Naas - Run Forrest Run - 0.5pts Each-Way
- Sunday, 15:13 - Facethepuckout - 0.5pts Each-Way
Sunday, March 23 - 13:28 Naas - Run Forrest Run
The speedsters are out for the opening race at Naas on Sunday in this six-furlong handicap.
It might not be the best race you will ever see, but Run Forrest Run is worth a try at the prices offered by betting apps.
The seven-year-old won at Cork towards the end of last season and wasn't beaten far in a better race than this at the Curragh in his last run.
He runs off the same mark here and may be nicely freshened up after joining the Thomas Coyle yard over the winter.
Sunday, March 23 - 15:13 Naas - Facethepuckout
This is a tricky handicap race to decipher, with a big field set to go to post.
A case can be made for a few of them, but Facethepuckout must be in with a shout.
The nine-year-old loves it around this track, winning on two of his last three visits.
Last season ended disappointingly as he was a beaten favourite here in October, but he runs well fresh.
He has been dropped to a nice mark, and I would be surprised if he weren't in the shake-up.
