Slevin's father Shay is a trainer and his mother is the sister of Aidan O'Brien, so it's clear that racing runs through his blood.
The Irishman rode Champagne Classic for Gordon Elliott for his maiden Cheltenham Festival victory in the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle in 2017 and later enjoyed two more winners.
