BC.Game Esports has moved Counter-Strike 2 rifler Denis 'electroNic' Sharipov to the bench, the organization confirmed on its official X account on September 22, ending his run of nearly a year in the starting five.
The move comes just ahead of the PGL Singapore Major qualification deadline, and reports from HLTV say BC.Game is closing in on Tyson 'asap' Paterson of THUNDER dOWNUNDER as a replacement - a signing that would also shift the org's competitive base from Europe to Asia.

Asked about the decision by HLTV, BC.Game CEO Ali Muhanned said the call was tied to the calendar rather than to Sharipov's play. “It has nothing to do with electroNic,” Muhanned told HLTV.
"If we had more time for the Major, I would have actually given him more time just because the team is new." Muhanned described Sharipov as one of the most important people in the team both on and off the server, according to the outlet.
A Reported Region Switch
HLTV's reporting, cited by multiple outlets including Dust2.us and Esports News UK, says BC.Game is close to signing Paterson from THUNDER dOWNUNDER as Sharipov's replacement.
Because Paterson competes out of the Asian region, his arrival would reportedly reclassify BC.Game's home region from Europe to Asia - a change that matters because it opens an easier route into the PGL Singapore Major through Asian qualification rather than Europe's more congested path.
None of this has been confirmed by BC.Game itself, and the organization has not announced a replacement signing as of publication.
