MGM & Caesars Roll Out All-Inclusive Packages In Bid To Revive Strip

Las Vegas is taking a page out of the Caribbean resort playbook.

Both MGM Resorts International and Caesars Entertainment have launched all-inclusive style packages at their budget-friendly Strip properties.

It is a direct response to a challenging period for tourism in the city.

MGM moved first, rolling out its deal at Luxor and Excalibur in late March. For $330 plus tax, two guests can enjoy a two-night stay that includes three meals a day from a range of dining outlets across the MGM estate.

Two show tickets are also included, from options such as Blue Man Group, Carrot Top and the Australian Bee Gees, along with two Big Apple Coaster rides and self-parking.

There are no blackout dates and nights can be stacked. MGM estimates the combined à la carte value at between $688 and $808 per stay.

Caesars followed on April 2 with its Inclusive Summer Package at Harrah's, The LINQ and Flamingo Las Vegas.

It starts at $200 per night for one guest, with each additional guest at $100.

The bundle includes a standard room with resort fees and taxes already covered, two daily meals at outlets helmed by celebrity chefs including Gordon Ramsay, Bobby Flay and Guy Fieri, plus bottomless well drinks, house wine and beer at select bars.

Guests also receive two High Roller Observation Wheel tickets and complimentary self-parking. The package runs through August 2026.

Both operators are responding to the same pressures. Las Vegas saw a 7.5% decline in tourism during 2025, with the average length of stay dropping to a five-year low of 3.2 nights.

Rising airfare, hidden fees, and resort charges have pushed visitors toward more predictable, upfront-priced destinations.

February 2026 showed the first tentative signs of recovery, with visitor numbers up 2.1% year-on-year.

Neither package is a true all-inclusive in the full Caribbean sense and exclusions apply.

But both represent one of the most meaningful value-led pivots the Strip has made in years.

Those looking to play slot games for real cash and table games, alongside these new-look packages, will find the timing hard to ignore.

White House Warns Staff Against Placing Bets On Prediction Markets

The White House issued an internal warning to staff last month.

It instructed them not to use insider knowledge to place bets on prediction market platforms.

The move has raised serious questions about the growing intersection of government information and online gambling.

The email was sent by the White House Management Office on March 24. That was a day after President Trump announced a pause on threatened strikes against Iran.

It reminded staffers that using non-public government information to wager on platforms such as Kalshi or Polymarket is a criminal offense.

The warning followed a series of suspiciously well-timed trades. In the 15 minutes before Trump's Iran announcement, more than $760 million in oil futures changed hands in under two minutes.

Three Polymarket accounts then collected over $600m by correctly predicting the timing of the two-week ceasefire announced in early April.

Democratic Senator Andy Kim called the situation a "breeding ground for corruption and exploitation."

Legislation has also been introduced to ban prediction market betting tied to war entirely.

William Hill Jackpot Glitch Triggers Heart Attack Claim & Legal Action Threat

A software glitch on William Hill's Jackpot Drop game in mid-March caused the operator to pay out 35,072 jackpots in a single period.

That compares with just 518 the previous week. Thousands of players briefly believed they had won life-changing sums.

The most high-profile case involves John Riding, 76, from Burnley, Lancashire.

He told the BBC he believed he had won £285,000, a figure confirmed by his local William Hill shop.

His account was then frozen. A day later he received an email replacing the funds with just £15.40.

After several days of failed attempts to reach the company, Riding suffered a heart attack and spent nearly a week in hospital. His family said there were moments they feared he would not survive.

Owner Evoke is seeking to recover funds under its terms and conditions.

It is offering players around 11% of withdrawn amounts as settlement.

Solicitor Paul Kanolik of Ellis Jones Solicitors told the BBC he had been contacted by around 50 affected players and is exploring a potential group action.

Massachusetts Closes Door On Social Casino Ban

Massachusetts legislators have effectively shelved House Bill 4431.

The proposed law would have banned social casinos across the state.

It failed to gain traction in committee and will not progress during the current legislative session. That provides significant relief for social gaming operators and the millions of Massachusetts residents who play recreationally.

Social casinos are platforms where players use virtual currency rather than real money.

They have faced increased regulatory scrutiny across the US in recent months. California went further earlier this year, making sweepstakes-style casino platforms illegal as of January 1, 2026.

The Massachusetts committee's decision signals a more cautious approach, at least for now.

The state is also preparing to reopen applications for sports betting licenses, adding further momentum to the Bay State's growing gaming economy.

With social casinos safe for the moment and the sports betting market continuing to expand, Massachusetts is emerging as one of the more active gaming policy arenas in the Northeast.
