Andy Robertson Next Club Odds: Atletico In Driving Seat For Reds Defender

Andy Robertson has been linked with a move from Premier League champions Liverpool and betting sites are considering where he could be playing football next season.
Atletico Madrid are the current favourites to sign the Scotland defender, who has one year left on his contract.
The Reds have been strongly linked with a move for Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez during the summer transfer window which could see Robertson spend more time on the bench.
The Cherries have paved the way for that move by signing Adrien Truffert from Rennes on a five-year contract for an initial fee of £11.4million.
Former Hull defender Robertson is unconcerned about Kerkez's potential arrival, recently speaking about the pressure of competing against new signings, although he would not be drawn about his own future.
He said: "When you play for a big club like Liverpool you expect challenges; you expect to have competition. I've always faced that and so has everyone in their own positions.
"We want the club to be ambitious. They're doing that and wherever we fit into that, if you're happy with the role, you stay and do it - and if you're not then I'm sure there will be some people out the door as well. That's the nature of football."
Robertson has won the Premier League twice and the Champions League in 2019 during his eight years at Anfield, but are his days on Merseyside drawing to a close?
We examine some of the clubs in the running to sign the full-back and the latest Andy Robertson next club odds.
Atletico Hot Favourites To Land Robertson
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claimed on his YouTube channel that Atletico are looking to sign a left-back and that Robertson fits the bill.
However, the Spanish giants are hoping to sign the 31-year-old defender for a small fee or even on a free transfer.
Liverpool are unlikely to let such an experienced player leave without suitable compensation, but Romano reckons Robertson “will be keen to move to Atletico Madrid”.

It should not be forgotten that Arne Slot also has Konstantinos Tsimikas as back-up, but it is more likely the Greece international would move on rather than Robertson.
Nevertheless, Atletico are 1/3 with football betting sites to bring the Scotland skipper to Madrid in the summer.
Saudis On Red Alert
Many players have chosen to see out their playing days in the lucrative Saudi Pro League, but would Robertson consider taking an option that did not work out for Jordan Henderson?
The data suggests Robertson is starting to slow down, so playing for a Saudi club where the pace is unlikely to be as frenetic as the Premier League could be attractive, in addition to the money.
Robertson may feel he still has plenty to offer Liverpool or one of the big clubs in one of Europe’s top five leagues, in which case a move to the Middle East can be put on the backburner.
Former Reds midfielder Fabinho won the Saudi Pro League with Al-Ittihad this season, so could Robertson join his former team-mate in Jeddah?
Unlikely, but the chances of the Reds hero joining a Saudi club this summer are 6/1, according to betting apps.
Villa Next In Line
France defender Lucas Digne is entering the final year of his contract at Aston Villa, but both parties seem relaxed about the situation.
Digne told French outlet LeJdD that “the directors want me to stay, that’s clear and it’s important for me”.
The former Everton player has established himself as the first-choice left-back in Villa’s starting line-up, but Ian Maatsen has proved an able deputy in his absence.
Villa spent £35million on signing the 23-year-old Maatsen from Chelsea last summer, so he seems to have a long-term future at the club.
But, Villa may have to sell players before June 30 to comply with profit and sustainability rules (PSR) and Digne’s departure is not out of the question.
Digne revealed in the same interview he is “open to anything”, so a summer switch cannot be ruled out which would then pave the way for Robertson joining Villa – a move priced at 7/1 with Ladbrokes.
Hammers And Celtic On The Fringe
West Ham and Celtic are both priced at 10/1 with Coral to sign the Liverpool left-back, although the latter can be ruled out following Kieran Tierney’s move to Parkhead.
The Hammers seem a more interesting option bearing in mind Aaron Cresswell is leaving after 11 years with the club, so Graham Potter would need competition for Emerson Palmieri and teenager Oliver Scarles.
With Vladimir Coufal also on the move, Potter’s options in the full-back areas are limited, so there could be fresh blood at the London Stadium in those areas this summer.
The MLS is also viewed as a great way to end a career and Robertson is also 10/1 to end up in the United States where the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez are playing for David Beckham’s Inter Miami.
Forest And Fulham Outsiders
Elsewhere, Nottingham Forest can be backed at 14/1 with Coral to sign Robertson.
Former Liverpool defender Neco Williams has nailed down the left-back spot at the City Ground, but Nuno Espirito Santo will require cover, with Harry Toffolo leaving the club and loan signing Alex Moreno returning to Aston Villa amid speculation he could join Leeds.
Fulham's Antonee Robinson had an outstanding season at left-back and the club have excellent back-up in the shape of Ryan Sessegnon, but the club are 14/1 to snap up Robertson.
Crystal Palace are available at 16/1 for Robertson’s signature, with Brentford priced at 33/1.
