Champions League Tips: Our Predictions For Tuesday’s UCL Fixtures

Tonight's Champions League Predictions:

Three British sides (Man City, Chelsea and Celtic) go into Champions League action on Tuesday with vastly contrasting fortunes in the competition, and UK betting sites can’t wait for it all to kick-off at 5.45pm.

Man City safety top their standings and are eyeing up an early qualification to the next round, while Chelsea are scraping it out in their group as all four teams sit within just two points of each other.

Things aren’t so rosy for Celtic though, as the Bhoys need to turn things around quickly if they are to keep their European dreams alive.

We are back for another week of tipping, so you’ll find a breakdown of our picks and the best odds on the biggest matches on Tuesday night below.

As always, make sure you take advantage of all the Champions League free bets you find ahead of the latest round of fixtures!

Celtic vs RB Leipzig, Tuesday, 8pm

Simple put, it’s now or never if Celtic want to stay in Europe this season. Even if they can’t manage to qualify for the next round of this tournament, the Europa League route is still available to them if they can grab third place in Group F.

There was no shame to losing to defending champions Real Madrid on matchday one, and Ange Postecoglou will have been pleased with the point his side got away in Poland to the displaced Shakhtar Donetsk in their second group game.

But the Aussie will not have been happy with how easy RB Leipzig had it in their 3-1 victory over the Bhoys last week.

RB Leipzig have blown hot and cold all season, and currently sit in a lowly 11th place in the Bundesliga.

However, their squad is packed with quality and the likes of Timo Werner, Christopher Nkunku, Dominik Szoboszlai and André Silva will be keen to have another crack at a naïve (in European terms) Celtic defence.

Football betting sites make the visitors 6/5 favourites to win in Glasgow, and we are not going to argue with that assessment.

AC Milan vs Chelsea, Tuesday, 8pm

Betting apps and punters are finding it tough to predict who will claim the top-two spots in UEFA Champions League (UCL) Group E, with all four teams separated by just two points.

AC Milan's defeat in London made it four successive losses against Premier League (PL) opposition for Milan, and with six defeats from their last seven occasions hosting English sides, it’s hard to see that run ending here.

Chelsea collected a domestic home win at the weekend, cruising past Wolves 3-0 in the PL despite fielding a heavily rotated side.

New boss Graham Potter will now hope those rested players justify his decision on their return to ensure Chelsea take another step closer to an 18th UCL knockout appearance.

Tip: Chelsea To Beat AC Milan - 11/8 With Unibet

Borussia Dortmund vs Sevilla, Tuesday 8pm

Borussia Dortmund could make their busy October a whole lot easier by defeating Sevilla for the second time in a fortnight and seal their place in the UCL Round of 16 with two games to spare.

A pair of three-goal victories from three games in this competition has proven to be a welcome distraction for Dortmund and their manager Edin Terzić from an inconsistent Bundesliga campaign.

Dortmund have wasted no time in getting the job done in their two UCL wins so far though, doing the bulk of their scoring prior to half-time whilst keeping first half clean sheets in all three games - including their 2-1 loss to Manchester City.

Dortmund were 4-1 winners of this reverse fixture at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán in Sevilla last week and according to Paddy Power they should once again have too much class for their Spanish visitors.
