Cheltenham Festival 2025: Get Your Tips Out’s Treble For Day 2

Willie Mullins landed a brace on the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival yesterday as the action got going at Prestbury Park.
Mullins has two strong contenders in the first two races on Wednesday, which we have targeted for the first of our Day 2 selections.
The Cross Country provides us with our third to complete a treble that pays around 14/1 with Virgin Bet.

13:20: Turner's Novice's Hurdle - Final Demand
The way Final Demand swooped into the lead and drew clear effortlessly to win at the Dublin Racing Festival was mightily impressive.
He is a perfect two from two over hurdles now and with further improvement to come looks hard to oppose here.
He has such a big stride on him I can’t see how he won’t be staying on strongly up the hill so in my eyes is comfortably the one to beat.
The New Lion is also unbeaten and has looked promising but I’d have my doubts over the Challow form and he’ll need more again to hold off the Mullins horse.
14:00: Brown Advisory Chase - Ballyburn
The money has been pouring in for Ballyburn and it is easy to see why.
He was firmly back on track winning convincingly at the Dublin Racing Festival and now stretching out beyond three miles for the first time I think we’ll see the best of him.
He looks all about stamina and I can see him running in the Gold Cup in the future so he’d want to be winning this.
The main danger looks to be his stablemate Dancing City but he is a huge drifter in the betting now with the ground drying out somewhat which is a big negative for him.
15:20: Cross Country Chase - Stumptown
I haven’t had a strong opinion in the Cross Country over the years but Stumptown looks a real standout to me this year.
He unseated on his first try at this discipline last season but quickly got back on track winning impressively at Punchestown next time.
He returned with another win at the same venue back in November and then followed up over course and distance before Christmas.
He has gone up 8lb but has more to come with the cheekpieces applied and given he is versatile regarding the ground looks hard to oppose.
