Cheltenham Festival Betting: Betfred Offering A Promotion On Every Race For Day One

The 2024 Cheltenham Festival kicks off today and bookmakers are rolling out the red carpet when it comes to the various Cheltenham offers that are available.

This includes Betfred who are providing a special promotion for each of the 28 races that comprise the meeting. We have detailed the Day One offers below:

  • Race 1 - 4 places rather than 3
  • Race 2 - Price Boost
  • Race 3 - 6 places rather than 5
  • Race 4 - Price Boost & Distance Special for State Man
  • Race 5 - Price Boost & Distance Special for Lossiemouth
  • Race 6 - Free Bet if selection finishes 2nd & 5 places
  • Race 7 - 3 places rather than 2

The Supreme Novices’ Hurdle is the first race of the festival and Betfred customers are able to secure four places instead of three when it comes to each-way betting.

This means an increased chance of a return if your selection hits the frame.

When it comes to the Arkle Chase, look out for details of a price boost that is announced at 11am UK time, with one of the favourites likely to be boosted so that you can get extra value on this race.

The first handicap race of the Cheltenham Festival is the Ultima Handicap Chase, with Betfred making it easier to secure a return on race three.

That is because they have extended their place terms to six places when you are betting each-way, with this giving you a chance to land some kind of pay out.

The Champion Hurdle takes pride of place on the day one racecard, and there is a distance special for this race when it comes to favourite State Man.

Furthermore, there will be an 11am price boost for the same race, while the same applies to the Mares’ Hurdle where Lossiemouth is trading as the odds-on favourite.

The Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle is the penultimate race of the day and customers are able to get a free bet if their selection finishes second.

There is also enhanced place terms of five places instead of four, giving you extra value on this race.

Finally, the National Hunt Chase provides you with the chance to get boosted place terms of three instead of two, with Betfred certainly giving customers extra chances to win on day one.

You should expect similar offers when it comes to the following three days of the Cheltenham Festival.
