Benn Vs Eubank Jr - Unfinished Business: Conor To Gain Revenge

On Saturday night, Conor Benn, 23-1 (14 KOs) and Chris Eubank Jr 35-3 (25 KOs) will resume their feud under the bright lights of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Their first meeting back in April ended with Eubank Jr claiming a unanimous decision, all three judges scoring it 116-112 to the former IBO super-middleweight champion after a thrilling 12-round encounter.
The carnival-style build-up that stole the show in their first fight has been replaced by a sense of seriousness, as the Benn/Eubank saga comes to a close.
Boxing betting sites make Eubank Jr a narrow favourite, but it’s Benn who carries the heavier burden, knowing that a second defeat would be a far harder pill to swallow.
Benn To Get The Job Done!
A teary eyed Conor Benn was consoled by his father in the centre of the ring after the first fight, which was the first defeat of his professional career.
It’s a memory that will no doubt fuel the fire in the 28-year-old’s stomach heading into the rematch.
Benn has made it clear there will be no trilogy, regardless of Saturday’s outcome, which only heightens the stakes for “The Destroyer” as he sets out to even the score.
A fast start is imperative for Benn, who lost five of the opening seven rounds in their last contest.

With Eubank Jr expected to struggle once more to make the 160 pound limit, Benn has to capitalise on the moments he spots fatigue.
Expect the Greenwich-born Benn to target the body early, as he aims to drain Eubank’s energy and create openings that simply weren’t there in the first fight.
His cardio is one of the best in the business, and if he stays composed in the early rounds, his relentless work rate could deliver the breakthrough he needs in the second half of the fight.

Patience To Be A Virtue For The Destroyer
For Conor, the challenge will be to start smarter and control his emotions as he looks to avenge both his and his father’s defeats.
He will be desperate to even the score, but rushing in and throwing wild shots in the early exchanges is what cost him last time.
Benn may look to target the body early to slow Eubank Jr’s forward momentum.

Making the 36-year-old work harder from the start could give him the edge and swing the momentum in his favour as the fight progresses.
Expect “The Destroyer” to come out more composed and with a sharper boxing IQ.
If he can get into the seventh round level or ahead on the scorecards, he’s likely to force mistakes from Eubank Jr as he chases the rounds.
Benn’s explosive style is one of his best attributes and what makes him so exciting to watch.
This, twinned with his counter-punching style, makes a late stoppage worth considering on betting apps.
