Cologne Vs Leverkusen, Saturday 2.30pm
It has been a rough week so far for Bayer Leverkusen, with much of their good work of recent weeks going up in flames after successive home defeats.
An improbably loss to Augsburg, which saw them take 36 shots, put them behind the pace for the top four and then they were mastered from start to finish by Bayern Munich in Wednesday’s DFB Pokal semi-final.
League Comparison:
Position | Team | Played | Points | GD |
6th | B Leverkusen | 30 | 52 | +19 |
12th | Cologne | 30 | 31 | -7 |
If they are to return to the Champions League (and there is still the possibility that fifth could be good enough), there are no further jokers to play and they simply have to win their remaining fixtures.
That will be easier said than done 15 minutes down the road at near neighbours Cologne, who are battling to stay, but now five points north of the relegation playoff place after a win and two draws in three matches under new coach Rene Wagner.

Wolves Vs Tottenham, Saturday 3pm
Let’s not stand on ceremony here. This is the sink or swim moment for Tottenham, who haven’t won a game in 2026 and if they don’t here, it would be incredibly hard to see them avoiding a humiliating relegation to the Championship.
Part of the reason this feels so big is that Wolves have been the division’s whipping boys for a while, despite slight improvement under Rob Edwards and despite the fact they were only mathematically relegated this week.
League Comparison:
Position | Team | Played | Points | GD |
18th | Tottenham | 33 | 31 | -11 |
20th | Wolves | 33 | 17 | -37 |
Spurs’ attack look revitalised under Roberto De Zerbi last week, with Xavi Simons in fine for, but they remain odds-on to be relegated on betting apps.
With three of Wolves’ last four games going over 3.5 total goals, the two teams look good to repeat here, with Tottenham having to go on the front foot.

Milan v Juventus, Sunday 7.45pm
What a couple of weeks it has been for Juventus, with Luciano Spalletti’s team taking full advantage of slips by Como and Roma to establish a five-point lead in fourth place.
They have won five of the last six since their late comeback in the 3-3 draw at Roma (which Gian Piero Gasperini’s team will bitterly regret if they fail to make the Champions League places).
League Comparison:
Position | Team | Played | Points | GD |
10th | Brighton | 31 | 43 | +4 |
19th | Burnley | 31 | 20 | -28 |
Meanwhile the goals have really dried up for Milan, nipping gentle talk of a late title push in the bud, and they had lost (and failed to score) in three of the last four before last week’s unimpressive 1-0 over doomed Verona.
Christian Pulisic especially has really hit the buffers, goalless in 2026, and he may struggle against Juve’s parsimonious defence, which has conceded just once in those last six.
