French Open Golf Betting Tips: 4 Selections From The Panel

With just a week to go before the Ryder Cup, the European team are all heading to Bethpage Black for a practice trip ahead of the biennial clash with the United States.
That means there is a great opportunity for one of the lesser lights to win a trophy at this week’s French Open which this year is temporarily being hosted by the par-71 Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Breteche instead of Le Golf National while it undergoes extensive renovations.
PGA Tour stars Harry Hall (11/1) and Corey Conners (12/1) are the two favourites on betting sites to win on this tree-lined parkland track situated 25km west of Paris and measuring just under 7,000 yards.

This week’s test combines the Blue and Red Courses which have water in play on a third of the holes and deep bunkers around the small to average putting surfaces.
The greens are a combination of bentgrass/poa and extremely fast, so a hot putter and dialled-in irons will be useful tools in the bag.
The Panel have picked out four French Open predictions from the outrights, including golf odds of 100/1 and 150/1!
French Open Golf Betting Tips: Home Comfort For Saddier
Adrien Saddier continues to show the form that brought him a first DP World Tour title at the Italian Open three months ago and looks a decent prospect towards the head of the market.
That two-shot victory over fellow Frenchman Martin Couvra came at the Argentario Golf Club, a short par-71 tree-lined course, just like this week’s venue.
Saddier has been knocking on the door in the last few weeks, having finished in a tie for fifth at the Irish Open followed by an agonising play-off defeat to Europe’s Ryder Cup vice-captain Alex Noren at the PGA Championship.

Hopefully, that near-miss at Wentworth will not have affected him too much, but against a field comprising just five of the world’s top 50, Saddier surely stands a chance.
His Strokes Gained numbers were decent for Approach, Tee-to-Green and Putting last week, and he is one of the straightest hitters on the tour which will come in handy when trying to find the tight fairways on the front nine.
Saddier’s form suggests another bold bid is on the cards and he gets the nod at 25/1 with Betfred to impress a home crowd desperate for a first French winner since Thomas Levet 14 years ago.

French Open Betting Odds: Parry The Pick
John Parry ended a 14-year title drought when winning the Mauritius Open at the end of 2024 and The Panel have high hopes the 38-year-old Yorkshireman can hit the bull’s-eye again in France.
Parry missed the cut for the first time in 10 tournaments at Wentworth last week on the back of a poor putting display, but was consistent as usual with his approach play over the two rounds.
The world number 100 leads the way on the DP World Tour for Strokes Gained: Approach for golfers that have played more than 50 rounds this year.
Only Joost Luiten and Brandon Stone have been stronger from tee-to-green from the DP World Tour regulars, so it all hinges on whether he can fire up the putter which has been giving him trouble this season.
Encouragingly, he was just outside the top 50 with the flatstick at the Irish Open and he was 16th at the Trump International Golf Links, so it’s not all bad news.
Parry is 40/1 on several golf betting sites and is the second of this week’s French Open golf tips.

French Open Golf Predictions: Migliozzi Signs Encouraging
Guido Migliozzi won this event three years at Le Golf National with a remarkable closing 63 to beat Rasmus Hojgaard by one shot and last week’s performance continued an encouraging run of form from the Italian.
Migliozzi missed the cut for the sixth successive tournament at Royal Portrush, but has since made the weekend in each of his last four outings.
The world number 218 finished 13th at Crans and although he was well down the field at the Irish Open, he bounced back to finish inside the top 25 at the PGA Championship.
Migliozzi topped the standings for Approach in Surrey and was inside the top 10 from Tee-to-Green, with a disappointing display on the greens preventing a higher finish.
Generally, his putting has been fine this season, so hopefully he can combine the two skill-sets to good effect at Golf de Saint-Nom-La-Breteche.
At 100/1 with PricedUp, Migliozzi is the third of The Panel’s French Open tips.
French Open Golf Tips 3: Guido Migliozzi (Each-Way) - 100/1 With PricedUp (Six Places)
French Open Golf Betting Tips: Otaegui On The Up
The Panel are always happy to jump on a board a player at a triple-figure price and they like the look of Adrian Otaegui, who produced his best performance of the season last week.
It’s been a grim year for the Spaniard, now representing the United Arab Emirates in a bid to win a medal at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
At Wentworth, Otaegui shot a weekend 69-68 to finish in a tie for 13th and was inside the top 10 in the Tee-to-Green and Approach metrics.
His putting continues to be a problem, but his iron play could be the key to success in France and he looks well priced at 150/1.
