Galway Racing Festival Tips: Tuesday's Best Bets

The Galway Racing Festival is up and running, and day one didn't disappoint.
It was also a good start for our tips this week, with Kilmeaden going in at a nice price of 15/2.
We came into the festival off the back of wins at prices of 28/1, 11/2 and 7/2 in recent weeks, so the form is good heading into day two.
Below are three Galway racing tips for Tuesday, including one in the feature COLM QUINN BMW Mile Handicap.
Galway Festival Tips For Tuesday
Tip 1: 18:40 - Orandi - 0.5pts Each-Way - 7/1 With Bet365 (4 Places)
The feature race of the day is wide open.
With 14 runners going to post, and four places up for grabs, it is an ideal contest for an each-way bet.
Mississippi River will be popular, but Orandi could prove to be better value.
A model of consistency, he rarely runs a bad race and was within a neck of recording an Irish and English Lincolnshire double earlier this season.
The seven-year-old's shrewd trainer will have aimed him at this race, and his jockey takes off a valuable 10lbs.
I expect a big run from him in day two's highlight.
Tip 2: 19:50 - Expound - 0.5pts Each-Way - 10/1 With Bet365 (4 Places)
Another open race, it is worth concentrating on a consistent type.
Expound fits that bill, having finished out of the first three just twice in his seven starts in both codes this season.
The six-year-old is a strong travelling frontrunner, and could be hard to pass if getting to the front.
One thing against him is a tricky draw, but his talented young jockey gets on very well with him and will hopefully get him into the right position.
Trainer Denis Hogan knows how to win at the festival, and his charge should run his race again.
Tip 3: 20:20 - Loingseoir - 0.5pts Each-Way - 8/1 With Bet365 (5 Places)
The final race of the day is a lot lower in quality, but is still worth getting involved in.
There are 17 runners going to post, and I have a good feeling about the chances of the veteran, Loingseoir.
He may be in the twilight of his career, but he has shown this season that he retains plenty of ability.
Michael Grassick's nine-year-old was just over four lengths behind a big improver in a far better race at the Curragh last time.
At this stage, he is on a long losing run, but this could be a good chance to get back to winning ways.
Nicola Burns is well worth her 7lb claim, and I expect a big run from the veteran.
