Milos Kerkez Next Club Odds: Liverpool Favourites To Sign Hungarian Defender

There are still a few days left in the January transfer window and betting sites anticipate plenty of activity before the market closes for business.
One Premier League player who is being linked with pastures new is Milos Kerkez.
The left-back has been a key part of Bournemouth’s improbable top-four challenge and the Cherries will be loath to lose him, but everyone has their price and a big offer could force their hand.
The Hungary international has been one of the best full-backs in the Premier League this season, so it is no surprise that he has emerged as a transfer target for clubs higher up the food chain than Bournemouth.
Where will Kerkez go next? Consulting football betting sites, we've looked at the Milos Kerkez next club odds.
Liverpool In Pole Position
Liverpool are the 7/2 favourites with betting apps to sign Kerkez, who joined Bournemouth from Dutch side AZ in 2023.
Andy Robertson has been a wonderful servant to the Reds for a number of years, but the evidence of this term suggests the Scotland international is on the decline. Liverpool need to replace him sooner rather than later.
Antonee Robinson of Fulham is another candidate to be Robertson’s successor, but the United States international is six years older than Kerkez, so Liverpool may ultimately favour the latter.
The fact he has Premier League experience would help the 21-year-old adjust relatively seamlessly at Anfield should he make the move over the next week.

Arsenal Also Seen As Contenders
Arsenal are yet to make any additions to their squad in January.
That has surprised many given the Gunners have ground to make up on Liverpool in the Premier League title race, but money is thought to be tight at the Emirates Stadium this month.
Anyway, a left-back is not thought to be their priority. Mikel Arteta is targeting an attacker first and foremost.
The emergence of Miles Lewis-Skelly from the club’s academy has reduced Arsenal’s chances of buying Kerkez, which Coral now rate at 12/1.
Lewis-Skelly has impressed during his time in the first team and it looks like he could be a long-term option at left-back. Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori can also play in that position.
Manchester City Have Already Splashed Cash
Manchester City are the Premier League’s highest spenders in the January transfer window, with Omar Marmoush, Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis all arriving at the Etihad Stadium in recent weeks.
Given how much they have struggled this term (at least by their own high standards), do not rule out another acquisition before the window closes.
City are priced at 16/1 to win the race for Kerkez, but a left-back is probably not at the top of Pep Guardiola’s wish list.
Josko Gvardiol has excelled in that role, while Nathan Ake is another option on that side of the pitch. Following Kyle Walker’s exit, a right-back signing is more likely.
Chelsea Squad Remains Incomplete
Despite bringing in plenty of players over the last couple of years, it feels like Chelsea’s squad is still incomplete.
Enzo Maresca will no doubt want to bring in several more new faces at some point this year, whether that is in January or the summer.
Kerkez, who shone in Bournemouth’s recent 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge, could become a key target.
For now, though, odds of 16/1 suggest the Serbia-born Hungarian is not about to jump ship to Chelsea.
Marc Cucurella is doing a decent job at left-back and, crucially, there does not seem to be a great deal of money available to spend in the winter window.
Newcastle Among Outsiders In This Market
Newcastle are listed at 20/1 with Ladbrokes to sign Kerkez, but this one feels unlikely. Indeed, the Magpies completed the signing of Lewis Hall from Chelsea last summer, spending an initial £28m to make his loan move permanent.
Hall is a young, talented left-back, just like Kerkez, so Newcastle will surely spend their money elsewhere. Anyway, despite having the richest owners in the world game, Newcastle do not have cash to burn right now.
A signing of any kind is not on the cards in the remaining days of the January window, so Kerkez will not end up at St James’ Park this month.
La Liga sides Barcelona and Real Madrid, both 25/1, have also been linked with the promising defender.
