Nepo Island Odds: Mel B, Danny Dyer And Katie Price In Contention For New Show
Celebrities and their children are to star in a new Channel 4 show - Nepo Island.
The programme, due to start filming next year, will see the kids left on a desert island while their famous parents watch on to see how their offspring cope with basic conditions.
Amanda Holden and her model daughter Lexi, and Vernon Kay and his student daughter Phoebe are among those who have already been linked to the show, and they are short prices on betting sites to sign up.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Stars and their kids will be flown over to an island where they will be separated.
"The parents will be watching how their kids cope and will be setting tasks."
One source also admitted the show hopes to prove that "these kids don’t need their famous parents to do well."

Spice Up Your Life On Nepo Island
Spice Girls singer Mel B and her daughter Phoenix have also been linked to the brand-new programme.
DJ and TV presenter Phoenix has previously explored the topic of nepotism - when those with power and influence favour relatives, friends, or associates, especially in the workplace - in her own documentary on the subject, Nepo Babies: Untold.
She and her mother, Mel, are joint 6/4 favourites on betting apps to sign up for the show alongside Amanda and Lexi.
Vernon and Phoebe aren't far behind at 13/8, while Gordon Ramsay and his daughter Tilly are 5/2 chances.
Gordon has done his fair share of reality TV shows about cookery, including Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares, but this could be a good opportunity to work alongside one of his kids.
The celebrity chef was a huge supporter of Tilly when she took part in the 19th series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2021, and he has since hinted he would like to appear on the BBC show himself.
Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show in 2022, he said: "I would love to dance but I’ve got a huge problem - I’ve got size 15 feet.
"Tilly did it last year and she was amazing. I don’t know. Those dancers are amazing. I’d love to learn how to dance properly."
If Gordon is still keen to venture into more reality TV, then Nepo Island could be just the show for him.
And it wouldn't be the first Channel 4 show he and Tilly have co-starred in after they appeared in Celebrity Gogglebox in 2022.

Danny and Dani Dyer are also well known to Channel 4 bosses, after being part of Celebrity Gogglebox as recently as last year.
The former EastEnders actor and the ex-Love Island winner have appeared in several shows together, and he is 15/8 to star in Nepo Island alongside Dani or his younger daughter, Sunnie.
Another soap star who might like a crack at the Channel 4 programme is Coronation Street actress Sally Dynevor.
She is 3/1 to take part in the series alongside her Bridgerton actress daughter Phoebe or Waterloo Road star daughter Hattie, and they are the same price as musician Martin Kemp and his TV presenter son Ronan.
Other musicians who could give it a good crack include Ronan Keating and his son Jack - who once appeared in Love Island - or his daughter Missy (4/1) and Take That star Gary Barlow and his son Daniel or daughter Emily (8/1).

Reality TV queen Katie Price has been there and done it on the small screen.
From I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! - from which she has her ex-husband, Peter Andre, to prove it - to winning Celebrity Big Brother, Katie has also starred in several reality TV shows filmed at her homes over the years, and many have featured her kids.
Nepo Island could be another excuse to work alongside one of her and Peter's offspring, Junior or Princess Andre.
Katie is 2/1 to team up with singer Junior or aspiring musician Princess for the Channel 4 show.
At the same time, Jeff Brazier is a 7/2 chance to join forces with one of his sons, Bobby or Freddy, who he appeared alongside on the BBC show Celebrity Race Across the World.
Mother-son duo Zoe Ball and her boy Woody (9/2), who have shared screen time on Celebrity Gogglebox, are also in contention.
Outsiders include Thandiwe Newton and daughter Nico (10/1), who recently walked the BAFTA Film Awards red carpet together, and the Gallagher brothers.
Noel Gallagher and his daughter Anais are 12/1 long shots, while his brother Liam and his son Gene - who have appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox together - are 16/1 shots.
