Premier League Betting Odds Update: Key Markets For The Run-In

The Premier League title race has been turned on its head.
Manchester City’s 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Etihad on Sunday has seen the bookmakers flip the market entirely, with Pep Guardiola’s side now favourites after trailing for virtually the entire season.
With five games left for most sides, the outright markets across the leading betting sites have shifted dramatically. Here’s where things stand.
Outright Winner: City Now Favourites
Sunday’s result at the Etihad changed everything.
City’s 2-1 victory - Rayan Cherki’s stunning opener cancelled out within two minutes by Kai Havertz, before Erling Haaland struck the winner midway through the second half - means the gap is now just three points, with City still holding a game in hand.
If they win that outstanding fixture against Burnley, the teams will be level on points, but City will go top on goal difference.
Arsenal’s title odds have collapsed from 1/7 just two weeks ago to 5/4, while City have gone from 11/2 outsiders to 4/6 favourites with most betting apps in the space of a fortnight. It is a remarkable swing.
Arsenal have now won just one of their last six matches across all competitions, a run that includes defeat in the Carabao Cup final against City, an FA Cup exit to Southampton and Saturday’s home loss to Bournemouth before the Etihad setback.
City, by contrast, have won five of their last six and are peaking at exactly the right time.
Their remaining league fixtures include trips to Burnley, Everton and Bournemouth, as well as home games against Brentford and Aston Villa.
Arsenal face Newcastle at home, Fulham at home, West Ham away, Burnley at home and Crystal Palace away.
On paper, both run-ins look manageable - but Arsenal’s fragile confidence is the concern.

Top Five Finish Market
Manchester United’s 1-0 win at Chelsea on Saturday night was a big result in the race for the Champions League places.
Michael Carrick’s side moved up to 58 points, level with Aston Villa, who edged a seven-goal thriller against Sunderland.
Liverpool won a dramatic Merseyside derby 2-1 thanks to a Virgil van Dijk stoppage-time header, moving to 55 points.
Chelsea’s defeat leaves them stuck on 48 points and staring at a season outside the top five.
Brentford are also on 48, while Bournemouth’s impressive 2-1 win at Newcastle has pushed them into the mix on 47.
Liverpool’s late winner at Everton was a significant moment.
They still have a fight on their hands with games against Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Aston Villa to come, but the three points and the manner of the victory could provide a psychological lift after weeks of poor form.

Relegation Battle
Wolves and Burnley are as good as down.
Wolves sit bottom on 17 points after a 3-0 hammering at Leeds on Saturday, while Burnley’s 4-1 defeat at Forest leaves them on 20. Both are 1/100 for relegation.
The real story is the battle for that final spot. Nottingham Forest’s convincing win over Burnley - inspired by a Morgan Gibbs-White hat-trick - moved them up to 36 points and five clear of the drop zone.
Leeds are also on 36 after their big win over Wolves.
Tottenham drew 2-2 with Brighton on Saturday, a result that felt like a defeat given they twice led.

Spurs remain 18th on 31 points, four behind West Ham, who have a game in hand with tonight’s trip to Crystal Palace still to come.
Forest’s odds have drifted from 9/2 to 8/1 after the Burnley result, a significant shift that reflects how much one good afternoon can change the picture.
Tonight’s Crystal Palace Vs West Ham game at Selhurst Park is a big one at the bottom.
A West Ham win would push them further clear of Spurs, while defeat would drag them right back into the thick of it with just five games remaining.
Looking Ahead
City’s game in hand against Burnley and their meeting with Brentford at home gives them the edge in the title race.
Arsenal need to regroup quickly ahead of Newcastle's visit to the Emirates on Friday.
At the bottom, Palace Vs West Ham tonight could prove pivotal, and Spurs face trips to Wolves and Chelsea in the coming weeks, knowing they can barely afford another slip.
With five games remaining for most sides, the odds are shifting after every result.
