Premier League Betting Odds Update: Key Markets For The Run-In

The latest round of matches of the 2025/26 Premier League season delivered plenty of drama, with results at both ends of the table shifting the markets on betting sites significantly.

Despite a shock defeat to Bournemouth, Arsenal remain firmly in control of the title race, but Man City are proving they are far from done.

Down at the bottom, Tottenham’s slide into the relegation zone has sent shockwaves through the division, and with just six games remaining, they are now favourites to go down alongside Burnley and Wolves.

Here we run through the latest odds on the outright winner, top-five finish and relegation, all updated after this weekend’s results.

Outright Winner: Arsenal vs Man City

Arsenal remain strong favourites despite a shock 2-1 home defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday - their third loss in four games across all competitions.

The Gunners sit top on 70 points from 32 matches, but the gap to Man City has narrowed considerably.

City were clinical in a 3-0 win at Chelsea on Sunday, cutting Arsenal’s lead to six points with a game in hand.

Win that outstanding fixture and the gap is down to three. The momentum has firmly swung towards the Etihad.

The two sides meet at the Etihad on April 19 in what could be a title decider. City will have had a full week’s rest, while Arsenal face a Champions League quarter-final second leg against Sporting Lisbon in midweek.

That scheduling could prove significant.

At 8/11, Arsenal still offer little value. City’s 7/5 looks increasingly generous given their recent form, but they still need Arsenal to drop points elsewhere.

Top Five Finish Market

With England set to receive an additional Champions League place via the UEFA coefficient for the second year running, a top-five finish carries huge financial weight this season.

Arsenal and City are nailed on, but below them it’s tight.

Man Utd and Aston Villa are level on 55 points, with United still to play Leeds on Monday night.

Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Fulham on Saturday was a much-needed response after a poor run, lifting them to 52 points in fifth.

Chelsea’s heavy defeat to City dropped them to 48, and Brentford and Everton are lurking on 47 apiece.

There are some massive head-to-heads still to come among the chasing pack.

Man Utd host Liverpool on May 2, Liverpool travel to Chelsea a week later and Villa face Liverpool on May 17.

Any of those games could decide who gets Champions League football and who doesn’t.

Relegation Battle

Wolves and Burnley are all but down, sitting on 17 and 20 points respectively.

The real battle is for that final relegation place, and last weekend blew it wide open.

West Ham’s 4-0 win over Wolves on Friday hauled them out of the bottom three and up to 32 points.

Tottenham then lost 1-0 at Sunderland in Roberto De Zerbi’s first game in charge, dropping Spurs into the relegation zone on 30 points.

Nottingham Forest’s 1-1 draw with Villa and the fact Leeds have a game in hand on Monday night at Old Trafford add further intrigue.

Spurs are now odds-on to be relegated on some betting apps, which would be their first drop from the top flight in almost 50 years.

A 13-match winless run in the league - the club’s worst since 1935 - tells its own story.

De Zerbi has a monumental task on his hands with six games to save their season.

West Ham’s run-in looks the most favourable of the four sides in danger, while Forest and Leeds should have enough to pull clear with a couple of wins.

Looking Ahead

Man City Vs Arsenal next Sunday could reshape the entire title race.

Below that, the battle for European places and the relegation scrap both have pivotal fixtures in the coming weeks.

With six games left for most sides and the final day set for May 24, the odds will keep moving - and we’ll keep this page updated as they do.
