Rhys Williams' Racing Tips: 1 Selection For Saturday

Horse racing expert Rhys Williams is sharing his best selections for Saturday's action.
Rhys has been a racing analyst for over 10 years, working for At The Races and, most recently, as a tipster for Betfair, where his tipping column achieved a 31% ROI over 4.5 years.
He often focuses on the back end of the market, finding angles that aren't evident to most.
Rhys' tips have returned 363.42 points from 231.0 points staked, meaning his profit and loss record stands at a whopping +132.42pts overall - thanks to a sensational spell that included Lamar Canyon's recent win at 150/1.
Here is Rhys' tip for Saturday, using the most up-to-date odds from the best horse racing betting sites.

13:55 York: Tailgunner Joe - 0.5pts Each-Way @ 33/1
Tailgunner Joe has been well beaten on his last two starts, but there were excuses on both occasions and I think the market has overreacted to those defeats.
He won a handicap in Meydan during the winter, when coming with a strong late run on the rail to beat Jolly Roger - who has since been narrowly beaten in a handicap on his return to Britain.
Tailgunner Joe finished off his time in Dubai with another good run in a handicap, when finishing sixth off a 5lb higher mark despite not getting a clear run.
He was stepped up to 1m2f on his return to Britain at Newmarket and he was still travelling well in behind the leaders with three furlongs to go, before looking a bit awkward on the undulations and clearly not seeing out the trip.
Despite looking an obvious non stayer that day, they ran him over 1m2f again at Epsom on Derby day and he unsurprisingly didn’t stay on the testing ground.
I thought a 3lb drop was generous in the circumstances, given that clearly looked an unsuitable test for Tailgunner Joe and the return to a mile on much quicker ground should see him in a much better light.
There is a bit of a concern over the combination of the wide draw and the possibility that this race may not be too strongly run.
So it might make it tougher for him to close from the back of the field, but this doesn’t look an overly strong race for the level and I think the market is underestimating the chance of him bouncing back.
Any 16/1 or bigger appeals.
