RSM Classic Betting Tips: 4 Panel Selections From PGA Tour Finale

After the thrills and spills of the climax to the DP World Tour season, there is a run-of-the-mill feel across the Atlantic for this week’s RSM Classic in Georgia, the final PGA Tour event of the year.
Harris English is the 22/1 favourite on several betting sites to win this tournament which is played over two courses: Plantation and Seaside, with the latter hosting both rounds over the weekend.
Although this event lacks big-name glamour, there is still a lot at stake for many of the field, such as a top-50 spot in the world rankings which would guarantee a spot at next year's US Masters, full Tour card privileges and places in a couple of high-profile tournaments in the first two months of next year.
With that in mind, The Panel have picked out three outrights between 33/1 and 40/1, plus one top 20 for this week’s RSM Classic betting tips.
RSM Classic Betting Tips: Whaley Can Land Maiden Title
Vince Whaley is inching closer to a first PGA Tour title after posting his fourth top-10 finish of the season at last week’s Bermuda Championship.
The 30-year-old from Lexington, Kentucky, shot three successive 68s and a fourth would have been good enough for a play-off with winner Adam Schenk, but a 70 on Sunday meant he had to settle for a share of third spot.
Whaley also finished third just six weeks earlier at the Sanderson Farms Championship, which is also played on Bermudagrass greens like the Seaside/Plantation courses, so he seems to be firing on all cylinders as the year draws to a close.
Twelve months ago, Whaley shot a seven-under-par 63 at the short Seaside Course to tie the lead with eventual winner Maverick McNealy heading into the final round, but a 71 saw him drop to eighth place, a year after he had finished 13th at the same tournament.
Whaley admitted after Saturday’s round in 2024 that he did not love the course in his first few visits, but he “had learned” the more he played it and that “it’s one of my favourites now”.
Whaley’s form, recent performances on Sea Island and his love of coastal courses (four successive top 10s at Port Royal which hosts the Bermuda Championship) make him appealing at 33/1 with Ladbrokes which is offering eight places, although some golf betting sites go 40/1.
RSM Classic Betting Tips 1: Vince Whaley 33/1 (Each-Way) - With Ladbrokes (Eight Places)

RSM Classic Predictions: Power Play
Seamus Power, like Whaley, is a player coming into form and with a decent record at this tournament.
The 38-year-old Irishman is a two-time winner on the PGA Tour, his last victory coming three years ago at the Bermuda Championship where last week he showed his liking for the course again by finishing in 11th place.
He was just three shots off the lead heading into Sunday and had been improving after every round, so Power may feel as though a third title was within his grasp.
Last year, Power was forced to withdraw during the second round of the RSM Classic owing to a back injury, but he had finished inside the top five in his two previous visits in 2021 and 2022 – encouraging signs for this week.
On the downside, his putting has not been great this season and he has the added pressure of playing for his PGA Tour card next season at 129th in the FedEx Cup Fall Series.
That said, this is just the sort of track that suits Power and he looks worth a whirl at 40/1 with BoyleSports, which goes 10 places, although 50/1 is available with other betting apps.
RSM Classic Betting Tips 2: Seamus Power 40/1 (Each-Way) - With BoyleSports (10 Places)
RSM Classic Golf Odds: All Aboard Echavarria
Nicolas Echavarria has been inside the world’s top 100 ever since winning the ZOZO Championship last October and his form suggests another title could be on the way.
Instead of dropping off after his success in Japan 13 months ago, the Colombian went on to finish sixth at the World Wide Technology Championship a fortnight later which he soon followed with a runners-up spot at the RSM Classic and another second at the Sony Open at the start of the year.
Echavarria’s form has not been quite up to that excellent standard, but he was handily placed outside the top 20 heading into the weekend at Port Royal, only for a 76 on Saturday to scupper his chances of a late charge.
Prior to Bermuda, Echavarria finished inside the top 10 at the Baycurrent Classic and four weeks later he shot a final-round nine-under-par 63 to grab a share of 14th at El Cardinal in Mexico.
What The Panel like about Echavarria’s prospect this week is that he has been one of the most consistent putters on the PGA Tour this season, with only Taylor Montgomery and Denny McCarthy better from this field using the Strokes Gained measure.
This is the last opportunity for the 31-year-old from Medellin to win a PGA Tour title for the third successive year and against a weak field, the Panel would not rule him out at 35/1 with Coral.
RSM Classic Betting Tips 3: Nico Echavarria 35/1 (Each-Way) - With Coral (Eight Places)
RSM Classic Top-20 Tips: Sigg Smokin’
Greyson Sigg was born in Augusta and went to college at the University of Georgia, so this is definitely home territory for a player who needs a big week, standing at 143rd in the FedExCup Fall Series.
As things stand, Sigg has conditional status for next season, but breaking into the top 100 would give him access to full-field events and The Players Championship next season, so there is a lot at stake over the four days.
The 30-year-old has made the cut in his last five outings and seven weeks ago encouragingly finished just outside the top 20 at the Sanderson Farms Championship which also has tricky Bermudagrass greens.
Either side of his trip to the Country Club of Jackson, Sigg posted top 20s at the Procore Championship and the Bank of Utah Championship, so his form has been consistent despite a couple of mid-table finishes in the last couple of weeks.
Sigg, who lives on the adjoining St Simon’s Island, once shot a 58 while playing with his friends on the Seaside Course where he has finished 15th and eighth in two of his last three appearance in this tournament.
At 4/1 with Betfred, Sigg looks a decent selection for a top-20 finish, although in reality he really needs better to break into the top 100.
