The Masters Betting Odds: Rory McIlroy Vs Bryson DeChambeau Round 4 Showdown

Rory McIlroy is just 18 holes away from achieving his long-time dream of completing his career grand slam.
Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods are the only players to have won The Open, US PGA, US Open and The Masters in their careers.
McIlroy will take a two-shot lead into Sunday's final round, when he will be paired with American Bryson DeChambeau.
McIlroy was among the pre-tournament favourites at 13/2 before Thursday's opening round, but his odds drifted to 14/1 on betting apps after a disappointing first round.
Double bogeys on the 15th and 17th spoiled a good round, but he put that setback behind him with back-to-back rounds of 66 and he is now the 1/2 favourite to finally win the coveted Green Jacket.
McIlroy has led The Masters on the final day before, but an infamous meltdown in 2011 put paid to his hopes that year.
Another Blistering Start Would Settle Rory's Nerves
Saturday's second successive 66 could not have started any better for the Northern Irishman.
By the end of the round, the four-time major champion had carded our birdies and two eagles, with bogeys at the eighth and 10th spoiling what would have been an even better round.
The 2022 and 2024 champion Scottie Scheffler was the pre-tournament favourite, but he has struggled to find the consistency to challenge and can be backed at 45/1 on golf to win today.
The American would pay a lot of money for a start like that on Sunday, but starting in the fourth from last group with Shane Lowry, gives Scheffler a chance to post a good clubhouse lead and put pressure on McIlroy.
Can DeChambeau Keep His Game Together?
Dechambeau is the closest to McIlroy, and the LIV player has his sights set on winning a third major, after two US Opens successes.
The final group promises to be a great watch with DeChambeau chasing down the leader.
DeChambeau has the game to challenge McIlroy, but he is prone to taking unnecessary risks, just as McIlroy is too.
The patrons following this group will be split. They will want to see history being made with McIlroy completing the career grand slam, but they will also want an American winner too.
While McIlroy has been keeping his emotions in check this week, DeChambeau has been firing everybody up and that might just get the spectators on his side.
But it comes down to who makes the big shots at the right time.
