Dan Skelton has developed into one of Britain’s leading National Hunt trainers and continues to build a powerful and consistent operation.

After spending several years as assistant to Paul Nicholls, Skelton set up his own yard in Warwickshire and quickly established himself among the top trainers in the country.

His stable regularly produces winners at the Cheltenham Festival and other big meetings.

Will be disappointed with not winning the Champion Hurdle on day one at Cheltenham 2026, but finished the opening day with a winner when Madara landed the Festival Plate.

Brought his tally to two for the meeting when Supremely West took the Pertemps and will hope for more joy on the final day.
