Rhys Williams' Racing Tips: 2 Selections For Friday

Horse racing expert Rhys Williams is sharing his best selection for Friday's action.
Rhys has been a racing analyst for over 10 years, working for At The Races and, most recently, as a tipster for Betfair, where his tipping column achieved a 31% ROI over 4.5 years.
He often focuses on the back end of the market, finding angles that aren't evident to most.
Rhys' tips have returned 404.24 points from 300.5 points staked, meaning his profit and loss record stands at a whopping +103.74pts overall - thanks to a recent 66/1 winner.
Here are Rhys' tips for today, using the most up-to-date odds from the best horse racing betting sites.

16:15 Wexford: Tingarran Express - 1pt Each-Way @ 10/1
Tingarran Express heads the weights for this handicap hurdle, and I think she has the potential to make her greater class count having put together some good runs over hurdles this season.
Having shaped well on her return from a 77-day break at Clonmel, she built on that over the same course and distance when the hood was taken off and she was ridden much handier.
She was beaten that day by Timurshah, who is now rated 39lb higher than he was that day, while Gino Bella finished third and is now rated 15lb higher and the fifth won on his next start over hurdles.
It’s easy to excuse Tingarran Express’ next run as that was over fences and she duly bounced back with a better effort last time at Tramore on her return to hurdling.
The usual positive tactics help her chances around this track and this is an easier contest than she’s been contesting of late. There is a slight concern that she can be weak off the bridle, but I think she’s overpriced and any 15/2 or bigger appeals.
Rhys' Selection 1: 16:15 Wexford: Tingarran Express - 1pt Each-Way
16:15 Wexford: Kinski - 0.5pts Each-Way @ 22/1
At a bigger price in the same race, I think Kinski can build on a promising stable debut at Kilbeggan last time.
He had shown some ability in his only start in a bumper for his previous yard but hadn’t shown much over hurdles and ran out in a point when his keenness showed.
He was ridden very patiently at Kilbeggan and took a while to pick up when asked for some effort after jumping two out but he made headway on the very long run to the last and ran on late to finish seventh.
Considering how poorly positioned Kinski was, I thought he did well to finish as close to the winner as he did and another horse who was ridden patiently and finished behind him, Ardgillan, won a handicap a couple of days ago.
There is the concern that he might just be a tricky ride and it could be that he’ll be better around more galloping tracks, but I think he’s got more ability than his rating suggests if that’s able to be channelled in the right direction and any 14/1 or bigger appeals.
Rhys' Selection 2: 16:15 Wexford: Kinski - 0.5pts Each-Way
