The Masters 2026: Top 20, LIV Golfer, Rookie And Missed Cut From Augusta

The waiting is almost over as one of the greatest sporting spectacles on the planet prepares to get under way at August National.

Rory McIlroy is the 14/1 second favourite for a successful defence of his Masters title, but Scottie Scheffler heads the market at 6/1 on betting sites.

The Panel have already provided five each-way tips for The Masters and have picked out three first-round leader selections for this year’s renewal.

Now, though, the team of experts have put their heads together to decide on some of the prop markets available for the first major of the year.

The Masters Top-20 Tips: English, Plain And Simple

Harris English is on a strangely consistent run this season, one which almost matches the American’s performances at The Masters.

The 36-year-old Georgian has finished between 21st and 28th in seven of his eight PGA Tour events in 2026.

Of course, that means he has yet to make it into the top 20 in the first three months of the campaign, so why would The Panel pick him to achieve exactly that in a major?

Well, English has made the cut in his last five appearances at The Masters, and last year enjoyed his best performance on this iconic course.

English, unsurprisingly the world number 21, closed with an impressive four-under-par 68 to finish in a tie for 12th.

That was the first time English had cracked the top 20, but he went very close in 2021 (T21) and 2024 (T22).

English later finished runner-up to Scheffler at both the USPGA Championship and The Open, so he enjoyed incredible runs in the majors, and hopefully, he can keep that hot streak going this week.

At 5/2 for a top-20 finish, English kicks off The Panel’s Masters props tips.

Masters Betting Tips 2026: 5 Props For Augusta

The Masters Top LIV Golfer: Hatton Hope

The odds suggest that the top LIV golfer market is a two-horse race between Bryson DeChambeau and 2023 champion Jon Rahm.

DeChambeau finished inside the top six at Augusta in the last couple of years and won the last two LIV Golf tournaments.

Rahm won the one before DeChambeau's victory in Singapore last month, so both players are bang in form ahead of The Masters.

The Spanish Ryder Cup star has five top 10s in his last eight appearances at The Masters, so a major duel between these heavyweights looks on the cards.

Tyrrell Hatton

But spare a thought for Tyrrell Hatton, who is 80/1 in the outright markets despite some decent displays at The Masters in the last two years.

The fiery Englishman produced his first Masters top 10 in 2024, followed by a 14th last year.

He may not get the better of the two frontrunners after a lacklustre start to the LIV Golf League, but he is finally getting the measure of Augusta and could get his season back on track.

The Masters Top Debutant: Gott To Be New Jersey Powerhouse

Almost a quarter of the Masters field is made of debutants this year and there are cases to be made for a handful for them to end up as top rookie.

Cornishman Harry Hall impressed on his USPGA Championship (T19) and Open (T28) debuts last season and may do so again at Augusta.

Fellow Englishman Marco Penge is getting to grips with the PGA Tour (T4 at Copperhead, T16 at Riviera) and world number 16 Ben Griffin won twice last year, although his form has dropped off in recent weeks.

The Panel, though, are playing this market with a straight bat and picking Chris Gotterup to finish as the top Masters rookie on the back of a sensational season which has seen him break into the world’s top 10.

Gotterup kicked off 2026 by winning the Sony Open in Hawaii, and three weeks later, the American was lifting another trophy at the Phoenix Open, where he beat long-time leader Hideki Matsuyama in a play-off.

Excellent from tee-to-green, the 26-year-old from New Jersey also hits it a mile off the tee, which will be a big advantage this week, and he looks the play at 9/2 for top debutant.

To Miss The Cut At The Masters: Koepka A Concern

Five-time major champion Brooks Koepka is back on the PGA Tour after ending his three-year spell on the LIV Golf Tour.

All seemed to be well after he posted three consecutive top 20s at PGA National, Sawgrass and Copperhead, but the putting problems that blighted the last two years returned at the Houston Open.

Koepka, who changed his putter from a blade to a mallet at the Phoenix Open, went to Memorial Park leading the Strokes Gained: Approach standings, but he lost more than three shots against the field on the greens over his two rounds

Brooks Koepka

Three double-bogeys from the seventh to the 10th in the opening round meant he missed the cut by six shots.

Despite finishing runner-up to Rahm at The Masters in 2023, Koepka has missed the cut in three of his last five visits to Augusta, so he is not guaranteed to be playing the weekend by any stretch of the imagination.

The Panel are on board Koepka missing the cut at x/x with (insert bookmaker).
