US Open Predictions: The Panel's 4 Selections From Day 3 At Flushing Meadows

It's day three of the US Open at Flushing Meadows in New York and The Panel have four tips from the final grand slam of the year at Flushing Meadows where Novak Djokovic and Coco Gauff are the defending champions.

US Open Betting Tips: Laslo To Take A Set From Djokovic

Djokovic and Laslo Djere meet for the third time, and while a win is almost certainly on the cards for Djokovic, Djere has caused his fellow Serbian huge problems in both of their previous encounters.

Djokovic is the overwhelming favourite on betting apps, but The Panel see potential value in backing Djere to win at least one set at 41/20 with BetMGM.

US Open Tennis Tips: Shelton To Cover Against Bautista Agut

Last year’s semi-finalist, Ben Shelton, put on one of the best performances of the opening round, brushing aside Dominic Thiem 6-4 6-2 6-2

The American will look to keep that momentum going when he takes on Roberto Bautista Agut. Shelton and Bautista last clashed in this year's Australian Open, with the American winning 6-2 7-6 7-5.

RBA defeated Luca Nardi in the opening round of the tournament, but he did not look all that convincing, with each of the three sets going to seven.

The Spaniard has had a tough time on hard courts this year, and Shelton will be fired up in front of an  American crowd.

Shelton is the comfortable favourite for the match at odds of 1/6 with leading UK betting sites, and we are expecting an aggressive approach from him as he looks to secure a third-round spot. As such, The Panel have looked at the handicap market to find value.

When the two met in Australia, Shelton covered the 5.5 handicap, and at 4/5 with Bet365, we expect him to do the same in New York.

The Panel's US Open Tennis Prediction 2: Ben Shelton -5.5 At 4/5 With Bet365

US Open Tennis Odds: Peyton Stearns vs Daria Kasatkina Prediction

Peyton Stearns' match with Daria Kasatkina promises to be one of the most exciting encounters from Day three of the US Open.

The two women have met in grand slams twice in the last year, with Kasatkina winning at the Australian Open and Stearns returning the favour at the French Open.

Stearns’ straight-set victory at the French Open was one of the American’s better recent performances, and she will be fired up to make it two-for-two in front of a home crowd.

The American's underdog price on new betting sites presents an excellent betting opportunity, and we’ll be backing her at 11/10 with William Hill

US Open Tennis Prediction: Carballes Baena To Beat Shang

Roberto Carballes Baena and Juncheng Shang will meet after slogging out victories over five sets in the opening round.

Shang made hard work of Alexander Bublik in the first round, going 2-1 down before taking the last two sets 6-3 6-4 on Court 11.

The Chinese player has struggled in hot conditions in the past, and it certainly looks as though the sun is going to be shining on Flushing Meadows on Wednesday.

Carballes Baena is much more experienced in these conditions, and we suspect this may help him secure the win.

Top tennis betting sites have Shang as the favourite, with Betway pricing him at 7/20.

However, The Panel think that backing the underdog offers value here, with Carballes Baena likely to have the advantage in tough conditions. Betway prices him at 11/5 and we believe this offers value.

The Panel's US Open Tennis Prediction 4: Roberto Carballes Baena To Win At 11/5 With Betway
