Real Madrid currently lead the race to secure the signature of PSG striker Kylian Mbappe before the transfer window slams shut on January 31.

Although, Liverpool have also gained traction in recent weeks on betting sites, considering the Frenchman as a potential replacement if Mohamed Salah opts to depart from Anfield.

The speculation surrounding Mbappe's contract extension refusal at PSG in the summer created a global buzz as various clubs expressed interest in the 25-year-old.

But one unlikely destination for the PSG star appears to be Saudi Arabia. Reports suggest that despite Al-Hilal's interest in the summer, the French superstar declined a meeting, firmly stating his reluctance to play in Saudi Arabia.

With this said, it leaves PSG in a precarious position, as they will be keen to recoup some of the €180m that they paid for his services in 2017.

He seemingly has his heart set on a move to Real Madrid, but Los Blancos would like him to join for free in the summer.

It has set the stage for a battle of wills between Mbappe and PSG, and it remains to be seen how this one will play out.

The bookmakers believe Madrid remains his most likely destination this summer, and we have provided updated odds and analysis below.

Will Kylian Mbappe Join Real Madrid? Betting Odds Suggest It’s Still Likely

Real Madrid are now the 4/5 favourites with football betting sites to sign Mbappe from PSG.

He was on the brink of joining Los Blancos 18 months ago after they mounted a €200m bid, but he performed a dramatic U-turn and decided to stay in Paris instead.

Mbappe continues to top the goal scoring charts in Ligue 1, notching 18 goals in just 11 matches this term.

PSG may dominate their domestic league, but they continue to fall short in Europe, and Mbappe has seemingly decided that greener pastures lie elsewhere.

He refused to sign a new contract in the summer, but it looks as though he plans to run his current deal down and move to Madrid on a free transfer when it expires at the end of the 2023/24 season.

According to Goal.com, he will bank a £200m package if he joins Real Madrid in the summer, and he is reportedly prepared to sit tight in preparation for that move.

However, that would be a bitter pill for PSG to swallow, so the Ligue 1 champions are now actively trying to offload him.

Los Blancos have been reliant on Jude Bellingham for goals at present, but remain in need attacking reinforcements after bidding farewell to Karim Benzema last summer.

They will be determined not to miss out on Mbappe after coveting him for years. As such, they are still the odds-on favourites to snap him up Mbappe before the winter transfer window closes.

Do Liverpool Stand A Chance Of Signing Kylian Mbappe This Summer?

The odds on Liverpool signing Mbappe have shortened dramatically after they expressed an interest in the 25-year-old forward.

They look as though they are planning for life after Salah and could do something drastic to close the gap on a Man City team led by Erling Haaland.

It would be a remarkable coup for the Reds, whose current transfer record is the £85.6m they paid Benfica for Darwin Nunez last summer.

The Frenchman has made no secret of his admiration for the Merseyside club, which has only added fuel to the fire.

They were priced at 33/1 to lure him to Anfield earlier this summer, but Liverpool are now just 3/1 to be the next club that Mbappe plays for.

Yet it remains to be seen if they can afford him, but it looks as though they will at minimum be able to offer him Champions League football for next season.

Will Kylian Mbappe Stay At PSG And Hold Out For A Free Transfer In The Summer?

With the transfer window now open, betting apps are offering 3/1 on Mbappe remaining at PSG for the start of February.

The 25-year-old has had a phenomenal campaign so far and recently scored in the 2-0 Trophee des Champions final triumph over Toulouse.

Despite reports suggesting that the Parisians were prepared to bench him for an entire season if he didn't not sign a new deal, he has been at the forefront of PSG's success both domestically and in Europe so far.

PSG will be expecting a low offer, if any, to come from Madrid this month, before they have to do battle with the Spanish side for Mbappe's signature in the summer.

With a number of teams poised to strike at the end of the season, it is a question of whether PSG want to recoup any sort of fee for their star player, before eventually losing him on a free in just a matter of months.

Despite the uncertainty of his long-term future, signs are pointing towards Mbappe extending his stay in Paris, at least for a few more months.

Will Kylian Mbappe Move to Manchester United? Betting Odds Shed Light On His Next Club

Manchester United look set to finally cut ties with Jadon Sancho, leaving a good chunk of money free to potentially throw at a world-class winger.

The Red Devils may be languishing in eighth at the time of writing, but with the quality Mbappe provides, he could guide them to a Premier League top-four spot before the season ends.

It has been a rocky season for United so far, which could deter the Frenchman from putting pen to paper with the Manchester club, as they are already out of the Champions League.

Yet Erik ten Hag's side are 5/1 to welcome the PSG striker into their ranks, but this may be even a financial step too far for one of the richest clubs in the game.

Predicting Kylian Mbappe’s Next Move: Chelsea’s Outsider Status In Betting Odds

Newcastle are available at 14/1 with new betting sites to bring Mbappe to St James Park this winter.

They are a side that has been ravaged with injuries in the opening half of the season, but also possess one of the biggest bank accounts, which could be enough to influence him to join.

A move to Newcastle may not be at the forefront of Mbappe's mind, but given the atmosphere created in the Magpies' 4-1 thumping of PSG in the Champions league this season, he could consider it.

But a quick glance at the Premier League table may also dissuade him from accepting any overtures from the northeast side.

Long-shots in this market include Chelsea, who are priced at 14/1 with the top bookies, alongside odds of 25/1 for Mbappe to have a change of heart and make the move to Saudi Arabia.
