Enterprise Esports Allow MAGNUM To Explore Options
Enterprise Esports has given VALORANT player Martin "MAGNUM" Penkov permission to explore other teams ahead of the 2027 season, with the move confirmed on September 13, 2026.
Penkov said he remains under contract and in talks with Enterprise Esports, but that the organisation has allowed him to look at other options.
"I still have a contract in place and I'm in discussions with EP, but the club has allowed me to explore other options," he wrote, referring to Enterprise Esports by its EP abbreviation.
A Well-Travelled VALORANT Veteran
Penkov has been with Enterprise Esports since January 2026, arriving from BBL Esports, where he had also been allowed to explore options at the end of the 2025 season before eventually departing.
His career includes stints with FNATIC, where he reached the Masters Reykjavik final, as well as KOI, Apeks, Karmine Corp and AVENUE Esports since turning professional in 2020.
Penkov said he is willing to move to China, Asia-Pacific or North America for the 2027 VCT season and can play either the Controller or Initiator role. That flexibility across both region and role widens his market considerably heading into what is traditionally VALORANT's busiest transfer window.

Enterprise Esports enter the offseason with momentum, having improved through the Play-Ins and playoffs of VCT 2026 EMEA Stage 2 before Penkov's exit talks began. The clustering of moves reflects the tight turnaround between the end of regional league play and next year's signing period, when free agency activity across VALORANT typically peaks.

Penkov's Enterprise Esports teammates include Patryk "Patitek" Fabrowski, who joined from XL Esports in June 2026, and Ilari "iluri" Puranen and Jacob "Lime" Foster, who both arrived from MOUZ in January 2026 alongside Penkov himself. Denis-Stefan "kozzy" Aionitoaei rounds out the current five.
Penkov's openness to a China, APAC or North America move for 2027 comes as VCT's next season introduces format changes across all regions, which organisations are already factoring into recruitment plans. His willingness to relocate outside Europe, where he has played his entire career to date, marks a notable shift for a player of his experience level.
