Next Celtic Manager Odds: New Favourite Emerges To Become Bhoys' Boss

A 4-0 home victory over Falkirk gave Martin O'Neill the perfect start to his time as Celtic's interim manager.
O'Neill was made caretaker manager following the departure of Brendan Rodgers one day after their 3-1 loss at leaders Hearts on Sunday.
Despite the resounding win, O'Neill has made it clear that at 73, he has no wishes to return to full-time management, which is why he has slipped down the market on betting apps.
It's unclear whether the club are pushing to have a new manager in place for Sunday's League Cup semi-final clash with Old Firm rivals Rangers, who themselves are under new management with Danny Rohl.
The longer it goes without a permanent replacement named, it looks as though O'Neill will be in the Bhoys dugout at Hampden Park.
Another Northern Irishman currently tops the market on betting sites.

McKenna Favourite For Hoops Job
Kieran McKenna remains the frontrunner to take over at Celtic Park.
The 39-year-old delivered back-to-back promotions by overseeing Ipswich's return to the Premier League for the first time since 2002.
Although they were immediately relegated, and their return to the Championship this season has been a struggle, McKenna is still considered to be a top-class manager.
The Northern Irishman could be an ideal replacement for Rodgers, and he has been backed from 4/1 to 11/8 in the next Celtic manager odds.

Ange Return Remains A Possibility
The time could be right for Ange Postecoglou to make a sensational return to Parkhead, although his odds have slumped from 7/4 favourite to 4/1 in recent days.
Postecoglou had two very successful seasons at Celtic, winning five of the six domestic trophies available to the club.
Since leaving, the Australian has had mixed fortunes at Tottenham, where he won the Europa League, and at Nottingham Forest, where he was sacked after just 39 days.
Celtic fans would welcome Postecoglou back in a heartbeat if he can replicate the success he had in his first spell.

Keane Still In The Mix
Robbie Keane enjoyed a short-lived loan spell at Celtic during the 2009/10 season, but he has since been making his name in the dugout.
The former Republic of Ireland striker has won titles as a manager in Israel and Hungary with Maccabi Tel Aviv and Ferencvaros respectively.
This season has been a bit of a struggle in the Hungarian top flight, so he may not need a second invitation to join the club he supports.
Keane is now 6/1 on football betting sites to become Celtic's next manager.

Europa League | Nov 6 | Midtjylland | vs | Celtic |

Knutsen Link Remains
This is not the first time Kjetil Knutsen has been linked with Celtic.
The Norwegian was the favourite for the job after Postecoglou joined Tottenham, but Rodgers ultimately returned for a second spell in Glasgow.
Knutsen is the architect behind Bodo/Glimt’s remarkable success over the last few years, and led them to the semi-finals of the Europa League in 2024/25.
He was 12/1 earlier in the week, but Knutsen is now priced at 8/1 on betting apps.

O'Neill Chances Diminishing
O'Neill restored some pride and joy to Celtic Park with a resounding 4-0 win at home to Falkirk, but insists the next manager should be younger than him.
As a consequence the odds on the three-time SPL title winner filling the vacancy have dropped to 12/1.
His assistant Maloney is available at 20/1, while Kevin Muscat and Craig Bellamy are both priced at 10/1.
Muscat turned down the chance to coach his former club Rangers recently, so it seems unlikely he would accept a role at their Old Firm rivals.
Former Liverpool and Manchester City striker Bellamy is making a name for himself as Wales' national coach.
Frenchman Wilfried Nancy (12/1) was a Canadian Championship winner with Montreal in 2021, won the MLS Cup with Columbus Crew in 2023 and the Leagues Cup last year.
Former Leicester manager Ruud van Nistelrooy can be backed at 14/1.
