Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New Orleans NFL Picks & Odds

This game's line could still swing with Trevor Lawrence's status still to be determined. It remains unclear if the Jacksonville quarterback will be active for the matchup against the Colts, and given Lawrence's uncertainty, we're leaning toward the Saints with his status in doubt.

Even with Lawrence, we project the Jaguars will have difficulty moving the ball against New Orleans. Jacksonville ranks seventh in run rate with 30.2 rushes per game, but the Saints are one of the better run defenses, ranking ninth in rush yards allowed per game at 96.3. The Saints have also just surrendered only one rushing touchdown this season.

Place Your NFL Picks on the Jaguars vs. Saints Week 7 Matchup NOW!

We could also see Derek Carr and the Saints' passing attack get going against a vulnerable Jacksonville defense. The Jaguars give up the second-most passing yards per game at 270.3 yards and don't consistently generate pressure, rating 28th in sack rate (4.84%). With Lawrence, we still forecast a Jaguars loss, but given how his status is still uncertain, we like the Saints even more to pull this one out.

⭐ My Best Bet: Saints -1 (-110) at FanDuel

Green Bay Packers vs. Denver Broncos NFL Picks & Odds

This sets up as the perfect bounce-back spot for the Packers. Green Bay is coming off a bye and will face a Denver defense that ranks last in points allowed per game (33.3) and yards allowed (440.3). The Packers rank just 28th in yards per game at 281.6 yards but should have running back Aaron Jones return from injury for this matchup.

Jones hasn't been healthy since a Week 1 38-20 win over the Chicago Bears when he tweaked his hamstring in the second half of that contest. Jones was dynamic before the injury, with 127 yards of offense and two touchdowns. The bye week should have allowed him to recover and allow him to take advantage of a bad Broncos defense.

Place Your NFL Picks on the Packers vs.  Week 7 Matchup NOW!

Denver has still yet to consistently generate offense, sitting at 21th in yards per game (306.3) and will now face a Packers defense that's been above average. Green Bay ranks 10th in yards allowed per play (4.9) and seventh in opponents' third-down conversion rate at 34.7%.

We like a healthier Packers team coming off a bye.

⭐ My Best Bet: Packers -1 (-110) at BetMGM

Cleveland Browns vs. Indianapolis Colts NFL Picks & Odds

Behind its dominant defense, the Cleveland Browns upset the San Francisco 49ers 19-17 in Week 6. Quarterback Deshaun Watson remains out, but PJ Walker did enough for Cleveland to secure the victory as the Browns held the 49ers to just 215 yards of offense.

The Browns have allowed just 1,002 yards. It's the fewest total through five games since 1971 and the third-fewest all-time. Opponents are also converting third downs against the Browns at a league-low 23%.

Place Your NFL Picks on the Browns at Colts Week 7 Matchup NOW!

Even if Watson remains out, we like the Browns to win and cover. Indianapolis quarterback Gardner Minshew struggled last week against the Jaguars, throwing three interceptions and taking three sacks, and we predict he will struggle against a Browns defense that is playing at a historic rate.

⭐ My Best Bet: Browns -2.5 (-110) at BetMGM

Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots NFL Week 7 Predictions

The Patriots continue to have one of the worst offenses in the league, ranking 31st in points per game (12). After a Week 1 25-20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, all five New England games have seen the under hit, and we're going to continue to back that trend with a matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

New England's only chance against a potential high-scoring Bills team is to drain the clock and take advantage of a gettable Bills rush defense. Buffalo ranks 25th in rushing yards allowed per game (133.7), and a consistent run game with longer drives plays to the under.

Place Your NFL Best Bets on the Bills vs. Patriots Week 7 Matchup NOW!

We also just saw the Bills struggle on Sunday night against the Giants, finishing with just 297 yards and two turnovers in a 14-9 win. Divisional familiarity between these two also tends to lead to more defensive, low-scoring games. Considering it's the only way the Patriots can keep this close, we expect a similar run-based, drawn-out game plan from New England that the Giants just used to success against Buffalo.

⭐ My Best Bet: Under 41 (-110) FanDuel

Washington Commanders vs. New York Giants Week 7 NFL Picks

Quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley have both missed time this season, but it doesn't change the fact the Giants offense is bad. New York has just five offensive touchdowns on the season, and while Barkley is back, the offensive line remains an issue. Guard Justin Pugh was just signed off the street for last week's game against Buffalo to help an ailing line that's given up the second-most sacks in the league (33).

The Giants still don't have an offensive first-half touchdown this year and rank dead last in scoring with 11.8 points per contest.

Place Your NFL Best Bets on the Commanders vs. Giants Week 7 Matchup NOW!

But the only team with more line issues than the Giants are the Commanders. Washington has surrendered a league-high 34 sacks. The Commanders also rank low in yards per game with 302, 22nd in the league, and are 26th in third-down conversion rate (34.2%).

With two struggling offenses that can't block, we like the under.

⭐ My Best Bet: Under 39 (-110) at bet365

Detroit Lions vs. Baltimore Ravens Week 7 NFL Picks

The Detroit Lions should now be considered in the discussion for the best team in the NFL. Detroit ranks fourth in points per game (28) and ninth in points allowed (18.8). The Lions have been the best team at stopping the run, giving up just 64.7 rushing yards per contest and are fifth in yards allowed per play (4.7).

Detroit has also been one of the most profitable teams to back, going 5-1 against the spread to start the season.

Place Your NFL Best Bets on the Lions at Ravens Week 7 Matchup NOW!

Detroit's strengths should give Baltimore issues. The Ravens run the ball at the second-highest rate in the league at (51.8%) and are fifth in yards per game with 144.8. But we predict the Lions run defense to give the Ravens issues. No one has been able to successfully run the ball against Detroit, and Baltimore will have to deal with having just played a week ago in London and re-adjusting its routine.

Detroit has enough advantages here for us to take the Lions getting a field goal on the road.

⭐ My Best Bet: Lions +3 at BetMGM

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Chicago Bears Week 7 NFL Picks

Justin Fields is unlikely to play against the Raiders on Sunday. Fields was listed as doubtful after dislocating his right thumb in last week's loss to the Chicago Bears. That means it's another week for an undrafted rookie, Tyson Bagent.

Bagent was OK against the Vikings. He completed 10 of 14 passes, but he had two debilitating turnovers. Bagent was sacked and fumbled, which resulted in a scoop-and-score for the Vikings. Then, when the Bears were driving for a go-ahead touchdown, Bagent threw an interception on a deep ball that was underthrown for D.J. Moore. The two pivotal errors are why we can't trust Bagent, even with a full week of preparation.

Place Your NFL Picks on the Raiders vs. Bears Week 7 Matchup NOW!

Las Vegas' defense has been solid, ranking 11th in yards allowed per game (315.3) and 11th in interception rate (2.69%). The Raiders should have numerous opportunities to take advantage of Bagent's mistakes.

⭐ My Best Bet: Raiders -3 (-110) FanDuel

Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 7 NFL Picks

For the second time this season, when faced with a premier defense, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense struggled. Tampa Bay had just 174 yards in a 25-11 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sept. 25, and just last week against the Detroit Lions, the Buccaneers produced just 251 yards in the 20-6 loss. The inconsistency on offense has left Tampa Bay with the 25th-best scoring offense with 18 points per game, and the worst rushing offense at just 3 yards per carry.

Place Your NFL Best Bets on the Falcons vs. Buccaneers Week 7 Matchup NOW!

The Falcons haven't been much better on offense. Atlanta is 29th in scoring (16.5) but ranks eighth in rushes per game at 29.7. Long drives with the clock running should help this game go under 38. Atlanta's defense has also only surrendered one rushing score this year.

⭐ My Best Bet: Under 38 (-110) at Caesars

Pittsburgh Steelers at Los Angeles Rams Week 7 NFL Picks

Pittsburgh's offensive issues have been widely discussed. The Steelers rank 30th in scoring (15.8) and yards per game (268.2) and have not been able to consistently pass or run the ball, ranking 26th and 27th in both of those categories.

Pittsburgh's pass completion percentage of 56.7% is the third-worst in the league, and now the Steelers have to go against a Rams defense that has been solid against the pass. The Rams are third in opponent completion percentage (56.8%) and 11th in points allowed per game (19.5).

Place Your NFL Best Bets on the Steelers vs. Rams Week 7 Matchup NOW!

Wide receiver Cooper Kupp is also back for the Rams and has been solid in his first two games this season. Kupp had eight catches for 118 yards against the Eagles before recording seven catches for 148 yards and a touchdown in last week's win over Arizona. With Kupp playing at a high level and the advantages the Rams' defense has, we like the Rams to cover in this one.

⭐ My Best Bet: Rams -3 (-110) at bet365

Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks Week 7 NFL Picks

The Arizona Cardinals have not been competitive in its last two games on the road. On Oct. 1, the Cardinals were blown out 35-16 by the 49ers, and just last week, the Cardinals lost 26-9 to the Rams after holding a 9-3 lead.

It's the second half that has been the issue for Arizona. The 1-5 team has been outscored 51-12 in its last three losses to the Rams, Bengals and 49ers.

Place Your NFL Best Bets on the Cardinals vs. Seahawks Week 7 Matchup NOW!

Seattle enters with the eighth-best scoring offense (24.8) and should have success against a Cardinals defense that is 24th in defending the run (133.3) and just gave up 179 yards on 28 carries (6.4) to the Rams. Arizona's recent lack of success on the road and in the second half is also enough for us to back the Seahawks at home.

⭐ My Best Bet: Seahawks -8 (-110) at BetMGM

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Kansas City Chiefs Week 7 NFL Picks

We're projecting plenty of points when the Los Angeles Chargers head to Kansas City to face the Chiefs. Both teams are led by their premier quarterbacks with Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes and the Chargers' Justin Herbert.

Mahomes should find success against a Chargers defense that gives up the most passing yards per game at 289 and ranks second-to-last in yards allowed per pass (7.7). The Chiefs have the second-best passing offense in the league (263.8) and should be able to negate the Chargers' high sack rate (10%) thanks to an offensive line that has the lowest sack percentage (2.5%).

Place Your NFL Best Bets on the Chargers vs. Chiefs Week 7 Matchup NOW!

The Chargers also have a vaunted passing offense with Herbert, ranking fifth in passing yards per game (259). As a team, the Chargers rank seventh in scoring (25.4).

Both teams have big-armed quarterbacks with enough assets on offense to take advantage of each team's defense.

⭐ My Best Bet: Over 48 (-110) at FanDuel

Miami Dolphins vs. Philadelphia Eagles Week 7 NFL Picks

This matchup features the highest total of the week at 52, thanks to the league-leading offense of the Miami Dolphins (37.2 points per game) and a Philadelphia team that ranks fifth in scoring (25.8). But we're not anticipating that high of a scoring contest, and we're going to look at the under.

We like Under 52 (-110) at Caesars. Defensively, both teams should be able to negate the offenses. Miami leads the league in rushing yards per game (181.8) and yards per rush (6.5), but it will now face the best run defense this season. The Eagles rank second in rushing yards allowed per game (65.8) and are sixth in yards allowed per rush (3.6).

Place Your NFL Picks on the Dolphins vs. Eagles Week 7 Matchup NOW!

The Eagles have still yet to reach their offensive form from last year's Super Bowl run. Quarterback Jalen Hurts just threw three interceptions and injuries to the offensive line didn't help the Eagles ground attack. Philadelphia had just 80 yards on 22 attempts in the 20-14 loss to the Jets.

Given Philadelphia's recent offensive struggles and Miami set to face the best run defense it will see this season, we like the under on the highest total this week.

⭐ My Best Bet: Under 52 (-110) at Caesars

San Francisco 49ers vs. Minnesota Vikings Week 7 NFL Picks & Odds

The good news for the San Francisco 49ers is the injuries to Christian McCaffrey and wide receiver Deebo Samuel are not expected to be long-term. Both may play in Monday night's contest with the Minnesota Vikings. If both go, we like the 49ers to cover.

San Francisco is coming off a 19-17 loss to the Cleveland Browns after kicker Jake Moody missed what would have been a 41-yard game-winning field goal. It was Brock Purdy's first regular season loss as the 49ers quarterback after winning the first 10 games. But we like the 49ers to bounce back. Since last season, after a loss, the 49ers are 3-1 against the spread.

Place Your NFL Best Bets on the Eagles vs. Jets Week 6 Matchup NOW!

San Francisco also boasts one of the most efficient offenses, averaging the second-most points in the league (30.7) and 371 yards per game. Minnesota's defense could struggle considering we saw an undrafted quarterback come off the bench and almost lead a comeback victory. If Chicago's Tyson Bagent found success moving the ball against the Vikings defense, we expect the 49ers to score with ease against a Minnesota defense that is 21st in points allowed (22.5).

⭐ My Best Bet: 49ers -7 (-110) at bet365
