Love Island Odds 2023: Zachariah On The Drift After Choosing Catherine
Love Island newcomer Zachariah Noble had his pick of the girls on Tuesday night's episode after entering the villa as the first bombshell of series 10.
But after choosing to couple up with Catherine Agbaje his price on UK betting sites has increased.
Zachariah's actions now mean Andre Furtado is single and vulnerable after he had been coupled up with Catherine in episode one, after the public were given the opportunity to pick who started out with who.
Elsewhere, Molly Marsh's chances of being Top Woman have increased, while her partner Mitchel Taylor is also in a strong position in the Top Man market.
Did Zachariah Pick Right?
Zachariah had all the power on Tuesday night's episode, as the personal trainer was given the chance to pair up with any of the already-taken girls in the villa.
He had started out as a 7/2 chance on Love Island betting sites earlier in the week, but after making his big decision he is now 5/1 joint-second favourite to be Top Man.
Zachariah admitted he chose Catherine because they enjoy "natural" conversations, and he described her as a "beautiful person".
While it is still early days, it appears he has plenty to do to catch Mitchel at the top of the market.
Gas engineer Mitchel is the hot favourite to be Top Male so far, at odds of 15/8, but that has cooled slightly from his best price of 7/4.
That might have something to do with a revelation that he had once dated three girls at the same time, which left Molly less than impressed.
It came out during a game between the Islanders, and Molly said afterwards: "It boiled my blood."
However, Mitchel appeared to smooth things over by telling her he was now a "changed man".
Andre On His Own
Despite now being single and vulnerable, Andre is the same price as Zachariah to be Top Male.
He is 5/1 on specials betting sites to win this year's series and half of the £50,000 prize money.
Semi-pro footballer Tyrique Hyde is also 5/1 to triumph in the Top Man market, ahead of George Fensom, who is 6/1 and Mehdi Edno, who is 13/2 with 10Bet.
It comes after George and Mehdi's respective partners, Jess Harding and Ruchee Gurung, admitted they didn't have a spark with the guys so far.
They both stepped forward earlier this week when asked by show host Maya Jama to do so if they weren't 100 per cent happy in their romance.
Molly On Top
Following her honest remarks, Ruchee is at the bottom of the Top Woman market at 6/1 with Coral.
At the opposite end of the market, Molly is 15/8 favourite to triumph, a fair distance ahead of Jess and Ella Tomas.
Ella and Jess 7/2 and 9/2 with betting apps respectively to be Top Female. It is early days in Zachariah and Catherine's relationship, but punters don't appear to be behind them just yet.
Despite being picked by the bombshell, Catherine remains 7/1 to be this year's Top Female on the popular show.
