Wimbledon Women’s Final Predictions:

Ons Jabeur will bid to win her first Grand Slam title when she takes on unseeded rival Marketa Vondrousova in the Wimbledon final on Saturday.

The best betting sites have installed her as the favourite after she produced a superb performance to beat world No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka in the semi-finals.

Jabeur reached the final at Wimbledon last year, but she lost in three sets to the powerful Elena Rybakina.

She followed it up by losing in straight sets to world No. 1 Iga Swiatek in the US Open final, and her hunt for a maiden Grand Slam goes on.

However, the Tunisian sixth seed is in the best form of her career right now, which suggests that she can finally win a major tournament.

She gained sweet revenge by beating Rybakina in the quarter-finals, and she then dug deep to clinch a famous victory over the powerful Sabalenka in the semis.

Jabeur will now need to be at her brilliant best in order to beat the dangerous Vondrousova, who is also chasing her first Grand Slam title.

It promises to be a fascinating match between two athletic players that like to come to the net, and we have discussed our top tips below.

Punt On Over 22.5 Games

Both of these players are tenacious, athletic and blessed with tremendous stamina, so it could develop into a titanic battle.

Jabeur has already come through two very difficult matches to reach this point, and fatigue could be an issue for the Tunisian star.

She lost the first set in her match against Rybakina via a tiebreak, before rallying to win 6-4 in the second set and 6-1 in the third.

Jabeur lost another first set tiebreak to Sabalenka in their semi-final showdown, but once again she displayed great mental fortitude to win in three sets.

Her quarter-final clash with Rybakina featured 30 games, and there were 32 games played during her entertaining semi-final against Sabalenka.

Vondrousova enjoyed a more comfortable semi-final, as she overpowered Ukrainian rival Elena Svitolina in straight sets.

That was an impressive result, as Svitolina was fresh from beating Swiatek - the top seed - in the previous round.

However, Vondrousova has also been involved in some long matches at this tournament, as she needed three sets against Marie Bouszkova in the Round of 16 and three sets against Jessica Pegula in the quarter-finals.

The 24-year-old Czech player is a highly unpredictable, tricky opponent, who blends baseline power with all sorts of mischievous drop shots.

She has an uncanny knack of returning even the most powerful serves, and she makes her opponents fight for every point, so this looks like it could develop into a drawn-out match.

The 11/10 odds available on over 22.5 games with tennis betting sites therefore look attractive, especially when you consider that the first set in Jabeur’s last two matches went to a tiebreak.

Jabeur Should Get The Job Done

Ons Jabeur

It is easy to see why Jabeur is the odds-on favourite to win this match, as she is far more experienced than her opponent.

The 28-year-old Tunisian has won four WTA titles, racked up more than $10m in career prize money and been ranked as high as No. 2 in the world.

She is the sixth seed for this tournament after displaying fine form over the past couple of years, and her record at Wimbledon is impressive.

Jabeur was a quarter-finalist in 2021, when she lost to Sabalenka, and she was the runner-up last year after suffering a narrow defeat to Rybakina in the final.

She has avenged both of those defeats this week, and she now appears poised to become a Grand Slam winner for the first time.

By contrast, very little was expected of Vondrousova at the beginning of this tournament.

She is a former world No. 14, and she finished runner-up at the French Open back in 2019, but a series of injuries halted her progress, and she is now ranked 42nd in the world.

Grass has always been her weakest surface too: Vondrousova had lost four of her five previous matches at Wimbledon before this tournament began.

She has vastly exceeded expectations at SW19, but Jabeur could prove to be her toughest opponent yet. The more experienced Tunisian should win this match, as her odds with betting apps show.

Back Both Players To Win A Set

Odds of 6/4 at William Hill on both players winning a set in this match also look very appealing.

They both have a similar approach, as they enjoy coming to the net, playing audacious drop shots and bamboozling opponents with their trickery.

As such, it could develop into a fascinating tactical battle, with both players taking a set before playing out a decider.

The last two Wimbledon women’s singles finals went to three sets, and there is every reason to believe that the trend could persist on Saturday.

Vondrousova beat Jabeur 7-6 6-4 in their last meeting, which took place at Indian Wells in March, but their previous two matches went to three sets.

The Czech beat Jabeur 6-1 5-7 6-1 at the Australian Open in January, and Jabeur won 4-6 6-2 6-3 when they clashed in Stuttgart last year.

They have met six times previously, with three wins apiece, so this looks like it could be a tight clash.
