Both of these teams have solid offenses, with Alabama ranking 24th in scoring, averaging 33 points per game and Georgia featuring the seventh-best offense with a scoring average of 38.8. The over has also hit in three of the last four matchups between these two teams.
Both defenses can be exploited by the offenses. Georgia has been vulnerable to runs outside the tackle. Georgia Tech was able to exploit the Bulldogs for 205 yards rushing and two touchdowns just last week, while Alabama also gave up 244 yards and 5.8 yards per carry against Auburn last week. Daijun Edwards has been a staple in the backfield for the Georgia Bulldogs this season. Edwards has been effective, running for 781 yards and 11 touchdowns while averaging 5.3 yards per attempt. But we're going to fade Edwards and look to take the under on his rushing yardage prop.
