Caesars Expands Its Online Casino Rewards Program With Extra Incentives

Caesars has announced that it is upgrading its casino rewards program by adding the Caesars Rewards Shop to its Caesars Palace Online Casino.
The new addition means that, in addition to receiving casino bonus cash, players can redeem their reward credits for bonus spins on select slot games.
The new shop has gone live in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, and includes a portfolio of more than 10 slot titles on which players can redeem their rewards.
Caesars Entertainment History
Caesars has a somewhat complex history. Caesars Palace in Paradise, Nevada, opened in 1966 before being acquired by Harrah’s Entertainment in 2005.
Harrah’s later rebranded as Caesars Entertainment in 2010. In 2020, Caesars was acquired by Eldorado Resorts, which retained the Caesars name and branding following the deal.
Harrah’s ownership of the brand is particularly significant because the group launched the Total Gold loyalty program in 1997.
The program, which reportedly cost an estimated $20million to develop, was the first systemwide complimentary rewards program.
It allowed bonuses and rewards earned at any Harrah’s casino to be redeemed across the company’s portfolio of venues and businesses.
The program was rebranded as Total Rewards in 2000 and later became Caesars Rewards in 2019.
Caesars Rewards remains highly popular with the brand’s customers.
Players earn Reward Credits for play at the company’s physical and online casinos, including Caesars Sportsbook and Horseshoe online casino, as well as for dining and shopping at Caesars-owned properties.
Today, the brand operates more than 50 destinations across the US, all of which participate in the program.
Caesars Rewards has also expanded to include partner businesses, allowing members to earn and redeem rewards when playing poker, dining out, or even purchasing flowers.

Earlier this month, Caesars Sportsbook announced its expansion into the Michigan market.
Beyond entering a new state, the launch was notable because Michigan became the first market to debut the company’s Universal Digital Wallet from day one.
The new payment system allows players to deposit and withdraw funds from a single wallet across all Caesars platforms in every state where the company operates.
While the system has now been rolled out in 24 states, Michigan remains the only market where it launched on the first day of betting.
