Game of Thrones Betting Odds: Who Will Rule Westeros?

Alas, Game of Thrones is coming to a close after eight seasons of unprecedented entertainment that captivated millions of TV watchers the world over.
But we still have one more week of Game of Thrones betting odds to consider and the bet we've all been keeping an eye on for 8+ years is finally going to be decided:

With one episode left, it's time to take a final look at the 'Who Will Rule Westeros?' betting market. (Potential spoilers ahead!)
With the Night King and Cersei defeated as well as the Great War ended, the market for who will rule Westeros at show's end is down to a few key characters.

6 GoT Characters Worth Considering to Sit on the Iron Throne
- Tyrion Lannister (7/1)
Tyrion opened the market around 12/1 but seems he will close the market around 7/1 odds to emerge from all the battles to sit atop the throne. This isn't so outlandish of an idea if you believe the fan-theory suggesting Tyrion is really the son of the Mad King and a Targaryen. If Tyrion is in fact Daenerys' older brother, he is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne and offers great value. - Sansa Stark (4/1)
It seems the Starks could be the only family left but if Jon Snow doesn't live to see the end than Sansa listed at 4/1 is a great bet to sit on the Iron Throne. She also has an obvious connection with Tyrion who has a chance to rule himself and could choose her to rule along side him. - Gendry (30/1)
Following Episode 3 of Season 8, Gendry, the bastard son of Robert Baratheon, was the favourite to rule Westeros at 2/1 but now with Episode 6 on the horizon, Gendry is a long as 30/1. Gendry is the only man alive with enough Baratheon blood in him to claim ruler of Westeros should those at the end of the show decide House Baratheon still holds the right to the throne but it doesn't seem all that likely that's how they decide their ruler. - Arya Stark (30/1)
Arya Stark, the "Night King Slayer", seemed like a longshot to rule in the end but following her performance in the Great War, it's not so unimaginable. But for the youngest Stark girl to rule Westeros a few key characters will need to die. All those people dying isn't out of the question but even assuming everyone in front of her passes before the final scene cuts, would Arya even want to sit on the Iron Throne? - Bran Stark (1/5)
Bran Stark opened the market this season as the favourite and it seems he will close as the favourite. Bran currently sits around 1/5 odds to rule so there's little value here but for obvious reasons, backing Bran isn't the worst bet available considering his current status as the living memory of all things. - Jon Snow/Aegon Targeryen (8/1)
Jon, or Aegon, has long been the expected Ruler of Westeros especially after it was affirmed R+L=J. The only thing standing between him and sitting on the Iron Throne is Daenerys, or should we say the 'Mad Queen'. If Jon survives till the end, he is sure to be the character sitting atop the Iron Throne.
Betting on Game of Thrones Season 8
Episode 3 of Game of Thrones featured the longest cinematic battle in history but, surprisingly, very few main characters died during the Great War which means the market on who would rule was still extremely competitive.
That was until Episode 5 when key characters finally met their end.
Cersei, Varys and even The Mountain were garnering odds up until this week but with all of them dying in Episode 5, the market for who will rule is down to a few options.
Jon and Daenerys have realistic paths to the throne should they survive till the end but it's tough to imagine Martin ends his epic series with such an expected outcome: Jon and/or Daenerys win out and rule Westeros.
Backing Jon to sit on the Iron Throne at 8/1 or Daenerys at 15/1 won't be ridiculed by any means but they are safer bets on a show that loves a good plot twist.
If you're looking value outside the obvious choices, back Tyrion 7/1 to sit on the Iron Throne at the end of Season 8.

There is a fan theory Tywin Lannisters' loath for his son Tyrion does not come from the death of his wife Joanna Lannister during Tyrion's birth but instead because Tyrion is actually a product of an affair between King Aerys Targaryen II and Joanna.
We know the Mad King fancied his Hand's wife so an affair certainly isn't off the table considering the King always gets what he wants. And Tywin's hate for Tyrion seems deeper than an accidental death during birth.
The most convincing evidence Tyrion is a Targaryen came in Season 6, Episode 2 when he went to visit the dragons and they didn't immediately unleash a fiery hell on him.
If Season 8 reveals Tyrion is actually the eldest living son of Aerys Targaryen II, Tyrion is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne over both Jon and Dany.
