What Will Phillip Schofield Do Next? I'm A Celebrity Appearance On The Cards
It's now been a year since Phillip Schofield last hosted the ITV brunch-time show This Morning, on May 18, 2023, after more than 20 years as part of the show's furniture.
He quit the show, and subsequently departed ITV, including his role as co-host of Dancing on Ice, after he admitted to lying about an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger male This Morning colleague.
Since then, Phillip has stayed away from the limelight for the past 12 months, but there have been murmurings that he could be set for a showbiz return soon.
Recently, Phillip was spotted out and about in London with his pal, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! co-host Declan Donnelly, and betting sites have been busy pricing up the possibility of his return to the entertainment scene.

Phillip Heading Down Under?
Phillip and Dec are reported to have enjoyed a four-hour dinner in London recently.
While it's not known what they spoke about, one of Dec's main jobs is presenting I'm A Celebrity alongside his best mate Ant McPartlin.
The Australian jungle-based show has been responsible for helping to propel little-known actors, presenters and singers into big showbiz names over the years, and it has also helped some to get their careers back on track, or simply give them a CV boost.
Marmite politicians Matt Hancock and Nigel Farage have both appeared on the programme in recent years, in what were arguably successful stints, with both making the final and finishing third on the show.
With his good pal Dec not far away, I'm A Celebrity could be the perfect place for Phillip to end up next, and he is Evens on specials betting sites to head to the jungle later this year.
A Return To The Airwaves?
Phillip is no stranger to the Southern Hemisphere having moved with his family to New Zealand aged 19.
He made his TV debut in the country, hosting youth music programme Shazam! in 1982, and he worked for Auckland-based radio station Radio Hauraki for two years.
It wouldn't be a surprise if the star - who launched Radio Plymouth in Devon in 2010 - wanted to return to his radio roots next.
In December, the Daily Mail newspaper reported that several of Britain's largest commercial stations were jostling to bring Phillip in.
An industry insider said at the time: "Within a period of time there is now a place for Phillip to return, possibly not on TV yet, but there are now a myriad of opportunities for him on commercial radio where he will be offered big money to return to his first love."
Phillip is just 6/4 on betting apps to host his own show on the airwaves, but could the time have finally come for him to return to TV 12 months after his sudden This Morning exit?
Could A Book Deal Be In The Pipeline?
Last year, Phillip was said to have spoken to a senior boss at TalkTV about a possible role at the channel, according to the Daily Mirror newspaper.
While it's thought he previously wasn't ready for a small screen comeback, he is now just 3/1 on new betting sites to front his own TalkTV show.
The publication also claimed Phillip had held an 'informal' conversation with book publishers Hodder & Stoughton, and while nothing appears to have materialised on that front, it seems plausible that he would want to get his own side of his story across in print.
Phillip is just 4/1 to publish a memoir next, and 5/1 to roll back the years and appear in a stage show.
In the 1990s, he hosted the likes of Talking Telephone Numbers and children's TV show Going Live!, but he was also well known for playing the lead role in stage show Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
But if Phillip is after a quick pay day then he might be tempted to sign up for the likes of Strictly Come Dancing (6/1), Celebrity Traitors (8/1), or even test himself on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins (10/1).
However, one route back to showbusiness that looks unlikely is a return to This Morning, which is a massive 100/1.
